When and where did you learn?  What kinds of things do you make?

i learned when I was in high school.I make scarves, dishtowels, hair accessories, and a variety of other things.

yes ma'am I do...my grandma taught me when I was 7
I primarily do afghans.............I carry one around in my car in a tote bag to work on if I get stuck somewhere....lol    one of these days it will get finished

My mom taught me in high school and I did a few partial blankets. It's been years since I've tried.

I learned when I was in high school or junior high, my mom taught me. She crochet's just about every day. I've made a scarf, a blanket for my mom's dog when I was in high school. don't crochet now... .tho I did help my friend make an oversized scarf this past winter using a hand-crocheting method.

My mother taught me and I crocheted a blanket when I was a child.  Now most of my crochet work is finishing edges of knitted projects.

I've done a few scarves.  It is quicker than knitting.  But it makes my hands ache.  I would think it would be easier with just the one hook but it's so hard for me.  I learned by watching youtube videos that Lion Brand yarn had done.

My mama taught me.  My son uses the granny square afghan that I made when I was 13....35 years ago.  It's his fave!  It's holding up well!

I learned to crochet about 2 years ago from a nun at church.  I'd always wanted to learn and saw a blurb in the church bulletin. I showed up not knowing how to crochet at all. I love doing it and usually make scarves and hats. I made a unicorn hat for my dd's 8th birthday.

My mm tries to teach me every time I visit and hen I go home and forget and have to try again the next time I visit which is only twice a year because of distance.  Been working on the same scarf for four years!!!

I can't say that I know how to crochet but I started this winter and I made a hat for my granddaughter. I learned by watching lots of YouTube videos. It was really fun making it and it turned out really good. I want to sew some crochet flowers to it but I need to learn to make them first.

My Grandma taught me years ago but I never kept up with it and would have to re-learn.

Nope. Never learned. I think my hubby would not be pleased if I picked up another hobby. Scrapping is enough for me.

I learned to crochet when I was pretty young.  When I was older, I used to make afghans.  I don't crochet anymore, I prefer cross-stitch.
