Re: Deanna's NSD 2015 - MEET & GREET
Here are my questions for 57Diana
  1. Are you married?
  2. Do you have any kids?
  3. Do you have any furbabies?
  4. How long have you been scrapping?
  5. Do you work?
And her answers:
Nice to meet you Mildred. Do you go by MIllie:)  I am 57 years old and have been scrapbooking in one way another since I was a teenager. I was a Creative Memories Consultant in the early 2000's, but my best friend opened her own scrapbook shop in 2002 and I went to work with her.  She retired in 2008, so her wonderful shop is gone.  I taught for 33 years and retired in 2013.  Love it.  I got married when I was 19 and have been married for 38 years to a wonderful husband, partner, and friend. I have 2 sons, 29 and 26.  My oldest is married and has my only grandchild, Max.  My youngest is living with his girlfriend of 3 years.  We have had many pets over the years, but currently only have a 11 year cat. Since we're retired we hope to travel and do not feel leaving a pet if fair.  Hope you are enjoying NSD. I would love to know the answers to your questions.

Mildred - Mom to 2 girls and a husband (I tell people that I am a single mom of 3. Ages 59, 37 and 31) lol. And a proud Grandma to Orahn (7) Sawyer (5) and Mazie (3).

My meet and greet with JillinIN, I answered her questions and then she answered mine.

by JillinIN Good morning Linda! I hope you're enjoying the crop too!!
Thanks for answering my questions. It's so nice to get to know you!
1. How long have you been scrapbooking?
I've been scrapbooking for 17 years

3. What are your favorite pictures to scrapbook?

Right now I'm loving scrapping my granddaughter. She's 19 months old and I had no idea it would be so great to be a grandma.
4. Do you have any fur babies?
We have 4 two cats and two dogs. We also have a turtle.
5. What's your occupation?
I'm the office manager at our small town newspaper and also a staff writer.. which I prefer over manager any day!

Well Hello - it is nice to meet you.

I live in Minnesota and I am married and have been for 24 years now. My husband and I love to repurpose pallet wood. So far we have done an entire wall in our guest room and also have made a bookshelf, some wall shelves and picture frames. Also hubby made a head board for the bed in there. Right now I would love to go to California. My oldest daughter moved there in December. I have seen her once now, but miss her terribly. She just got a new dog and I would love to meet him. I actually love watching the DIY channel. It gives me so many ideas for home improvements and also landscaping ideas.

2. Do you have a favorite scrapping manufacturer?
3. What is your favorite scrapbook technique?
4. What type of music do you listen to most often?
5. What is your all time favorite movie?<

Jan's answers:

I found ACOT when 2 Peas when out of business. I had been at 2Peas for a long, long time.
Recently my fav technique has been scrapping digitally. I upgraded to PSE 13 and found it's helped me.
I like Teresa Collins, Maggie Holmes and Am. Crafts...it changes.
Music - most types work for me from classical to country, Christian, some rock, pop, Broadway variety is good.
Sound of Music or Babe (the pig). Depends on how adult I am trying to be as to how I'd answer on the movie thing. Image

I wanted to get to know average_kim a little better... thanks Kim!

How long have you been scrapbooking?
   About 16 years
Do you have any other hobbies?
I like to read and sew, but my sewing machine is currently broken!
How long have you been a Cherry fan?
I started shopping here in about 2010, and joined in the cherry fun message board in about 2011.
Do you like to travel; If so favorite place, If not where would you like to go?
I would like to travel, but DH is self employed, and the nature of the business keeps him "on call" so we can't go too far.  We like to go on day trips to usually outdoors/hiking places.
Do you have a favorite vacation place?
No, but I'm dreaming about  a trip to Disney, probably without DH!  But that would be hard with just me and three kids . . . so still dreaming.

Re: Deanna's NSD 2015 - MEET & GREET
Here are my questions as answered by Katie aka Sakura Panda (I love that name, that's why I picked her!)

1. I live in Linden, Michigan. It is a small town between Flint and Ann Arbor.

2. We moved to Linden because my husband works in Flint and I work in Milford; Linden is somewhere in the middle. It's a small town, but growing, and we were able to get into a nice subdivision as it was being built. We've been here 12 years now.

3. I haven't had a lot of jobs, so I guess the most interesting one would be the one I have now. I'm a software engineer, designing production code for automobile engine controllers and I get to learn about all of the new features as they are being developed.

4. I don't like to admit it, but my favorite books to read are cozy mysteries. Set in small towns with a small cast of characters and completely unrealistic. I think they are fun to read!

5. Does photography count as "besides scrapbooking" hobby? LOL I always think of reading as one of my biggest hobbies -- I always have several books going at once, mainly so that I can always have a book at hand without carrying one around. (I stash them in all the places I'm likely to read.) Goodreads link to the books I've read so far this year. I also enjoy knitting, playing video games and watching TV, although I haven't played many games since the kids started taking over my consoles, games and TVs!
