I will be having hubby pick up from this awesome Mediterranean place beef kabob with yellow rice, tabula salad and hummus with pita, and baklava for dessert.
We don't have that place here on the east coast but sandwiches sound good. Good luck to your kids. Heck, I wish I could run 1/2 a mile! LOL!!!messa09 wrote:My kids will be running in their first race on Saturday evening, just a half mile but still a big deal for them. I imagine we will probably stop somewhere on the way home to grab dinner...most likely Erberts and Gerberts (sandwhiches), as this is my boys' favorite place to eat out.
My boyfriend is the cook in our house, so he'll probably make something, or we'll order pizza.
Love Mexican food so this sound very, very yummy!!!RiaB wrote:I usually combine NSD and Cinco de Mayo, because they're usually days apart, sometimes they're the same day! I'm planning on making Chipotle-at-home. I use their marinade on pork roast or a beef roast, this year it's a beef roast, and cook it in the Crock Pot. We'll have egg-and-cheese burritos for breakfast, quesadillas for lunch, and Chipotle, complete with cilantro lime rice, for supper.
Well at least you'll have the whole day to scrap!!!oceanbreezes423 wrote:Actually, my DH will be headed to work at 11:30 am till midnight, so I will be alone. That means no big dinner plans, just something small to snack on.
Sounds like my kind of night! LOL!!!tmp718 wrote:It's not my night to cook so I don't have to do anything but eat.lol
I just got a menu in the mail from a local Italian place that a lady at work raves about. They don't deliver but my DH said that if that's what I want next Saturday he'll pick up.MoochieMama wrote:We have an Italian place nearby that delivers so I am sure that is what we will be having.
I will be at a crop and they will be providing dinner for us. Yey!
Hi everyone! My name is Susan and I love to scrapbook!
What a great BF!!!DN in MN wrote:BF will be grilling something for me. I will make the salad ahead of time. If he decides to go somewhere, I always have frozen pizza
WTG Kimber! I'm not cooking either!! LOL!!!Shutterbug wrote:Probably going to get burgers or something. I am not cooking.
I've never had that but our favorite Chinese restaurant closed (BOO HOO) and is being replaced by a Vietnamese restaurant.lewisbaby wrote:I'll probably go pick up some Vietnamese food. Mmmmmm.
One of these days I need to take a road trip to the Hershey store. Is it as big as it was in the previous location? I wonder if I can convince Mindy to make the trip with me and you could meet us for lunch.sherelm wrote:My sister (a NONscrapper) is coming to the Hershey scrapbook store long enough for me to take a break, and we're running up to Friendly's and grabbing a burger and shake. That's my plan!
WOW - that sounds awesome. Looks like we will be enjoying the United Nations of cuisine on Saturday!jlparkmark wrote:I will be having hubby pick up from this awesome Mediterranean place beef kabob with yellow rice, tabula salad and hummus with pita, and baklava for dessert.
Two really great options!Tray713 wrote:My boyfriend is the cook in our house, so he'll probably make something, or we'll order pizza.
I hope you will be checking in with us, Susan!! Enjoy your crop.shoorn wrote:I will be at a crop and they will be providing dinner for us. Yey!
Hmmm . . . the family will probably have meatloaf and potatoes that they will just need to reheat. As for me, I will probably be sustaining myself with Raspberry Lemonade and Peanut M&M's. Soooooo healthy!
OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.

It is our only grandchild's birthday party as well, so I'm thinking there will be food there. I could always pack a doggie bag for later when I am home to join in on the crop fun!
We have been on a very strict budget this month. Payday is Wednesday for me and Friday for DH.(we get paid once a month) So Saturday sounds like a perfect pizza night! We haven't done any eating out for a while.
