I hear you, Jill. We'll probably do something similar!JillinIN wrote:I'd love to plan ahead and put something delicious in the crockpot, but the reality is we'll probably order a pizza.
My hubby is a great cook and he will most likely take care of me by making something good and healthy - I'm very lucky!
WOW, you really are lucky. Maybe he can give my hubby some cooking lessons!jan509 wrote:My hubby is a great cook and he will most likely take care of me by making something good and healthy - I'm very lucky!
i haven't thought about it, usually my hubby cooks all week and then we fend for ourselves all weekend. So that's probably what'll happen May 2 too and I'll probably grab some leftovers.

Since I'll be scrapping at a store, I just asked my friend where she wanted to go for supper since lunch and breakfast is provided (we'll be scrapping 7am until midnight ) After asking me to go with her she says she's leaving at 4 because her husband made dinner plans. So I figure I'll get a sandwich from Friendly's as takeout. SIGH.....
well unfortunately I need to leave the crop about 4p. So dinner for me will probably be on the road. I'm taking my DD and Niece to Disney Princesses Live.

I have lost 17 pounds since the first of January. Only 10 pounds to go!emmapaige wrote:Wow - I love your willpower. I'm hoping someone else will plan and execute dinner... but I expect we'll order pizza one night. I'm not sure at all what will happen the 2nd night.

No plans right now. I'll just go with the flow. If DH cooks or brings home take-out, I will eat that. Otherwise, there is always peanut butter and marshmallow fluff sandwiches.

Oh my gosh, I haven't had peanut butter and marshmallow fluff sandwiches for probably a few decades. NOW I WANT ONE!!karensay wrote:No plans right now. I'll just go with the flow. Our son will be here - he and my husband will grill most likely. And the asparagus will be up - so we'll have steaks, lettuce salads, and asparagus.
Well, I've put my family on notice that I will not be doing anything but scrapping on Saturday. They'll have to fend for themselves, and bring me some food as well!
Yummmmm...that sounds delicious!!Vicster wrote:Our son will be here - he and my husband will grill most likely. And the asparagus will be up - so we'll have steaks, lettuce salads, and asparagus.
Good for you, I hope they bring you something yummy!hsblair wrote:Well, I've put my family on notice that I will not be doing anything but scrapping on Saturday. They'll have to fend for themselves, and bring me some food as well!
Saturday lunch...I'm going to throw a frozen pizza in for whoever is home. I will be eating a late lunch at the bridal shower that I'm going to ....now for supper...I'm planning on something for them (whoever is home) to just heat and eat because more than likely I won't want to eat at 5:30 if I ate a late lunch. Maybe I can make extra taco meat on Friday for Saturday!!
