Can you believe it is only one week until NSD 2015? I have been busy cleaning my scrap room and getting the rest of my life in order. I'm really getting excited!! And I'm a bit nervous since this will be my first time as a hostess.
During last night's chat I mentioned my hint would have something to do about dinner. So let's start thinking about dinner plans for next Saturday. Will you be ordering pizza delivery, making dinner ahead of time, hoping a family member will prepare you some kind of nourishment, going out to a restaurant, other plans?
Let me know what you plan to do for dinner on May 2, 2015. Think about all the different courses that are available. There may be points awarded for your answer!
I really haven't thought that far ahead for meals! I think I'll put a roast in the crock pot for supper that evening, with carrots and potatoes. Easy-peasy. Then I'll make sure to buy ice cream to make the hubs and kiddies feel like they're getting special treatment!

I will just snack on carrot sticks and other healthy snacks. No one here but me so no meals will be cooked.
DH will be home so I'll probably talk him into making some homemade pizza.
It will be "EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF". Actually, it's just me and my husband. He'll probably get a pizza and I'll have Lean Cuisine.
Mary Love is all around you.
I will probably grab a frozen pizza a the store for dinner. We are to far away for any one to deliver to us. For some reason they think 70 miles one way is to far for them to deliver.
Something in the crock pot....That way its always ready and they can help themselves to it. Thinking maybe some sloppy joes....not sure yet
Well, I am really lucky to be married to an "Italian mama" LOL My husband does the majority of the cooking. I can cook but he really enjoys it. (I like baking, not cooking.) He cooks for the week on Sundays and during the week I just have to make the pasta, rice, whatever that goes along with what he made. DS is going to his friend's house to play video games so he will probably be gone from lunch to bedtime LOL! DH knows I have the 4-5pm hour and will probably take DD out in the afternoon and probably come home with dinner, unless he has plans to make something. In any case, it's not something I have to worry about ROFL!!!
Happy Scrapping!

I'm on a diet so I'll just have a protein shake. My hubby will make something for himself.

Wow - I love your willpower. Every time I say I'm just going to have some baby carrots, I end up with a side of chips and chocolate!!scrapy1967 wrote:I will just snack on carrot sticks and other healthy snacks. No one here but me so no meals will be cooked.
That sounds delicious Deanna!Deanna13 wrote:DH will be home so I'll probably talk him into making some homemade pizza.
I often have Lean Cuisine or some other small frozen meal for lunch but it's not enough to fill me up for dinner.jcsmaestra wrote:It will be "EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF". Actually, it's just me and my husband. He'll probably get a pizza and I'll have Lean Cuisine.
LOL!! I guess if they did you'd need to give a tip triple the amount of the cost of the pizza.love2stamp wrote:I will probably grab a frozen pizza a the store for dinner. We are to far away for any one to deliver to us. For some reason they think 70 miles one way is to far for them to deliver.

Lucky girl! My DH is not a very good cook and he hates doing the few meals he does make.scrappinmom99 wrote:Well, I am really lucky to be married to an "Italian mama" LOL My husband does the majority of the cooking. I'd love to plan ahead and put something delicious in the crockpot, but the reality is we'll probably order a pizza.
