Here's my entry!



This pic shows some of my scraps--I cut them into thin strips, glued them onto a white cardstock, then die cut the hearts with my Cricut and George and Basic Shapes cartridge.

I'm also combining with the Jan. What's on TV? challenge--showing something cold . . .

This was a fabulous idea ! I grabbed all the cutoffs from the bottoms of sheets, shapes cut and never used, just piling up at the side of my desk, and glued them down all randomly. (I forgot to take a picture of the inbetween but you can see in the closeup all the strips glued down to create my background texture.)
After that I painted them with gesso tinted pink, and used some sprays and my fave damask stencil with paste.
The page is to document how impressed I was that "when she found all the princess dresses in the tickle trunk didn't fit her anymore, A made her own!"

You can see the heart close to the top of the page, and it shows the shape under the bird!  That red dotted scalloped thing shows between the fabric petals.. I love the texture this gave!

Here is another from me.  I used the strips of paper on the background pages but also did smaller strips on another sheet and cut the letters from those strips.  I combined with the 3 in a Row challenge.

I used my scrap paper as background for the photos much like you did in your example. Thanks for the great challenge. I hope to have the time to do it again with a punch as well.

For the Use Your Stash Challenge I cut strips and used them to mat my photo.

For the Twisted List I used: #7 photo of a baby, #11 4+ pp's from bo bunny-on the go line, #19 tool I have not used in a while is my crop a dile, #21 embellies I got as a gift is a 6*6 paper pad by bo bunny that was sent to me in my envies, #26 something white is the photo frame.
