Congratulations to both of you! I will be sending you your gift cards shortly! ***
This month we are going to crop in the true sense of the word. Many cool graphic designs have large images that are cropped off the edges of the page. You see this style a lot on magazine covers and in many advertisements. It's a really great effect that I love and I've posted some really cool examples to give you and idea of what I am talking about...
I posted them all individually so you can get the true effect of the impact that this technique creates.
So my challenge for you this month is to crop photos and/or elements right off the edges of your page. Try and crop something large for a great effect. You can crop one or more items off the edges of your page, but you don't have to crop everything. Even one large item will do. Use the examples above for inspiration, and go wherever this takes you. I hope you can all have some fun with this.
Open to paper, digi, hybrid, cards, crafts, or whatever this inspires you to create.
Multiple submissions are allowed.
May be combined with one other challenge if that challenge allows it.
I will be running this challenge for two months. Post your creation to this thread by the end of February. I will accept entires up until the time I pick my winner. A random winner will win a $5 ACOT gift card from me!
I can't wait to see what creative ideas you all come up with!
Here is my page. I had a very blue Christmas this year, and I documented it on this page. I cropped the large Christmas tree off the left edge of my page, and I cropped my photo off the right edge.

Here's my entry! I used my Cricut and a gel pen to draw the basketball goal, using the Team Spirit cartridge. Then I cropped it where it would be partly off the card, per the challenge specs. The second photo shows the background before I added the basketball and sentiment. Thanks for a fun challenge!
I'm also entering this into the Jan. Card challenge, since I used my brand new Team Spirit cartridge!
