Hi cherries, I thought this would be a fun challenge to post, I hope you like it! I know it's a really busy time of year for all of us, so I'm going to run this through the end of January. I have a second page example in the works that I'll have to post at a later date...just need a few things from my ACOT basket to finish it up!
This challenge is to use a 9 square block design to create a layout. Several years ago, I made a Christmas layout using 9 squares that included 5 pictures of me as a child on Christmas morning, from different years. I like to put it out each year and have a little touch of back home around me at Christmas. I am working on a layout of my son with the same concept, I'll post that example when I finish it. Both pages show us on Christmas morning, at different ages in each picture. What I love about this block design is that each square has it's own unique personality.
Your challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to create your own layout using a 9 square block design that includes a MINIMUM of 3 pictures. I like for everyone to have a chance to participate, so your page can be of any theme, it just has to have 9 squares and a minimum of 3 pictures.
BONUS: If your page has a holiday theme AND each picture is of the same person at a different age, you will receive a BONUS entry. For example, a bonus entry would be like my examples of the same person at Christmas, at different years. Or your page could be of the same person on different Halloweens, or of the same person on different Easters, etc.

Open to layouts only, paper or digital
Must be new work using a 9 square block design and a minimum of 3 pictures
Multiple entries are allowed and you can combine with any other December or January challenge that allows
