I knew right where to go for this challenge's photos:  Our family trip out to Yellowstone, WY back in 2005.  My DD1 flew in from CA to meet up with us, bringing with her this awesome straw cowgirl hat, which she wore throughout the trip, even on a whitewater rafting trip!  She rocked this  hat!   I have the hat and the western theme for the extra entry!  Thanks for a great challenge!

I was actually raised on a dairy and we had a couple horses.  But these are the only photos I could find that hadn't already been scrapped.  They're old and faded but there's our horse, Babe.  I journaled about my dad who was in a cast for 13 months after our cow step on him and crushed his ankle...ouch!!  This second page is one I did a few months ago and doesn't count for this challenge.  But my grandson really loves hats so thought I'd share.

This LO is a pic I didn't think I would scrap, because neither my dad or I remember having it taken ! It must have been one of those pro photographers that travel around with props. My best guess is that I am 7 so 1978? For the Wild Wild West challenge this is the only suitable pic I have! Also for the Use your Stash - this western stuff is ancient!

Western theme-my older son at various ages, my grandson at 1 1/2 and one of my brothers when he was much younger in their "cowboy outfits"  lol  Hat and boots included.

I was so happy to see this challenge as I had a great photo of my mom with a cowgirl hat on and her little Yorkie with a small pink hat, too, earlier in the summer. Found some great cowgirl PP and embellies from Carta Bella here at ACOT. Also submitted for the Sept. Washi Challenge. Thanks!

Here is my layout. I'm not sure that the boots count as "cowboy" boots, but I know I always thought they were when I was little (my dad worked on farms).

I hadn't even looked through the challenges this month!  Right up my ally....right!?  How 'bout a little Prairie Chic by BoBunny thrown in with an HLSR photo of my niece Sabrina!

Off to get the grumpiness out of my system with a little Paper Therapy!!!
