Up Close and Personal Challenge will focus on one closeup photo of either a person or animal...think portrait...capture that expression, those eyes, that smile. AND your layout must use monochromatic papers and elements that compliment your photo. One entry, any type, new creations only...cannot be combined with any other challenge. Deadline is August 31, 2014. Please post here and in the Up Close and Personal Challenge Gallery.

To clarify, this needs to be a close-up photo of a person? As opposed to a close-up of an animal or object...
Can there only be one picture on the layout or does there just have to be one close up picture?
Thanks!Granscrap wrote:One photo up close of your subject, Shannon...thanks for asking.

Here's what I did with this close-up of my grandson trying to get his mom's attention through the car window. Too funny!

Thank you for this very fun challenge! You probably have seen that I light bright colors....and my DGD made it easy for me to pick ORANGE for my monochromatic layout. Fun to do, and love how it turned out.....I need to do mono layouts more often! I think this photo shows off her cute freckles framed by her orange hair so well!

Here's mine of my GGD. Photo from my DGD. I loved the softness of the photo and stayed with a pick monochromatic look.
Hi everyone! My name is Susan and I love to scrapbook!
