It is in shock I ask for prayers tonight. A neighbor of mine in his early twenties passed away suddenly this morning. He spent his school years at my house with Joey, my Dad, but most of all me. We were very close.

He had a sore throat last night and his mother took him to the family doctor who said it was an infection and he had a lump in his chest. Im not sure what that means exactly as I only know what his mom said and she is in terrible shape. He left the house this morning to go to his girlfriend , fell asleep and passed away. His name was Kyler. He has his parents, sister , and a daughter Aubrey not yet 2.

Thanks. Life is a lot more unsure to me tonight and more precious.

I can't even imagine what pain his family is going through right now. It really makes you remember that tomorrow is never promised to us. Just had to get up and hug my daughter. Praying for his families loss and yours as well since he was so close to you.

sending prayers aplenty!  almost the EXACT thing happened to friends of ours a couple years ago....their 19 yr old daughter died this way....for the life of me I cannnnnot remember what the cause was now....

This very thing happened to a friend of mine about 20 years ago.  Her four year daughter had a sore throat.  They took her to the ER.  Diagnosis was sore thoat-no bid deal.  She was dead within 18 hours.  VERY BIG DEAL!    I wonder if it was the same thing.  But that poor family!  Prayers for them, him and you Sher.  (((HUGS)))

Oh Sher, I am so sorry for your loss. I am praying for you and his family. What a horrible tragedy and a sad reminder of how precious life is and how fast it can be taken from us. I wish this did not have to happen to you my cherry friend.

Thanks to you all. I took off yesterday and today but am wasting time which I know now how much I should not do. Joey is in south Dakota and I let him know. We'll be with the family later today, I think they need time alone together. Hug everyone you just don't know.

How sad! Same thing happened here with my sons friend a few years ago. So sad!
