Last night was rough. I was so sad. Jeffrey is sad too. He has parked himself in front of the doggie door and growls. That is not like him. He isn't playing with any of his toys. He didn't even chase after a squirrel!

Last night, while watching tv, I started crying on the bed. Penny got up from her dog bed, gave me a lick, laid down next to me and put her paw on my hand. She is so sweet!

I slept like 3 hrs, then woke up. I think I see her, but I don't. Breakfast time for the pups weren't too bad, as the past two weeks, she hasn't eaten with them. But now, its all over and she isn't on her dog bed next to my computer.

I know it gets better as time goes on. This isn't my first pet loss, but they do not get easier.

Anybody scrapping? Me  - highly doubt it. I want too, but just don't feel like it.

DH and I have a "Gender Reveal" Party to go to at 6pm today. I'm debating on whether or not I want to go. DH isn't pushing me....but this is for one of my best friends. Would love to know what she's having! (She has two boys...we are all hoping this one is a girl!).

I am so sorry! I do understand what you are going through since it wasn't that long since Merlin went away. The girls here were pretty depressed for several days and weren't their normal selves, like Jeffery is acting. I say just give them lots of extra attention and love and it will help. They adapt better than us sometimes I believe.

I am so sorry! I do understand what you are going through since it wasn't that long since Merlin went away. Thank you Susan.....its so sad to see our pets sad....you can tell them what happened, but they can't tell you how they feel, or what they are thinking. But yes, extra attention and love and hugs and kisses is what we're all giving them. Espcially Jeffrey and Bear. Bear is so sweet. She used to share her large dog bed with Lady at times and would get up and take a smaller one.

Hi girls! Brandy you are right it never gets easier. It has been about ten and nine years since I lost my two baby's. It was a couple years before I could get another one and that one was Zoe!!!! She was around ten months old when I got her and I could not love a dog more. I love Sophie but Zoe holds that special place in my heart. It was 1am when I read your post and I had to get up and hug and kiss on Zoe. She was like mom I love you to but I am sleeping! I knew not to wake Sophie at that hour.
I had a much needed trip to hobby lobby this morning. Spent way to much but it was al needed right! lol!
I was suppose to have three AC albums delivered today.  My mail lady has been and gone and they still say out for delivery.UGH!! I also have a pack of shutterfly pics that are lost in the mail. I have lots of new goodies to put away and then I think I will scrap. When hubby gets up we are working on getting our garage sale stuff out and ready for the end of the week.

I'm working on the last MMC for July 7.  I made a personal goal (not out loud until now) to do all of those challenges this summer, and I will get this one done today, even as I'm working to get everything ready for our church camp next week.  I've been busy doing laundry, chores, and cooking a few things for DH so he won't starve!

Brandy my heart is aching. I know how hard and how incredibly painful it is. ((Hugs)) to you and your dh and to your sweet pups. I remember when we first lost Cider we would open the door to let Boomer out and he would turn and look for Cider to go with him. It was so sad and heartbreaking. We lost Cider 11 years ago this month  I still miss him so much. 

And now today my Boomer is not doing well. He had some tummy issues but the real concern is that he didn't eat all his food this morning. He has been in the same spot all day. And he can't seem to get in his comfortable position by lying on his side. He can't seem to stay like that. He looked so miserable earlier and we wondered if it was pain from his spine and back leg issues so I gave him his painkiller. His face looks better and I got him to wag for me. We've been putting his kibble on the floor in front of him and he did eat it. He also ate some banana. But be doesn't want either of his bowls near him. That is what is setting alarms off in my head.  So I've been sitting here in the kitchen with him.

I'm excited about what I found today at the store. (And I KNOW the cherries will understand) 12x12 AC 3-ring albums for........$1.80 Yes, I bought whatever they had left. And I posted the other week about wanting to do a recipe album/book.  I found a pink 6x8 Snap binder for....$1.80  What a bargain! Now I'm hoping the mailman delivers my pictures!!   Gloomy, rainy day here so great for crafting!

Oh, I do like that color scheme!  I've used yellow and gray, but never added a teal.  Looks great together!  Love the little bit of lace and bling, too!

I haven't scrapped in a week but I am altering an old bookcase for my youngest daughter's bedroom. I'm using all my old scrapbook paper to decoupage and revamp this ugly thing. We've had it for 17 yrs and it's cheap wood. She wants to keep it so we are making it pretty.

I haven't even opened my latest ACOT box I got in last week from the holiday. I never do that....I must be busy, lol. We have been cleaning and moving things around. She is camping today and tomorrow so I'm hoping to finish this weekend. 

I hope tonight is better for you Brandy. It must be hard for the dogs too. I'm so sorry and sending hugs.

OMG!!! OMG!!! OMG!!! What store was that?????? I am sooooo jealous!! And I was psyched about getting Project Life 3-ring albums for $10 at Michaels!
