CONGRATS Carolyn!!! your layout is adorable. Love the cute embellishments you added.
Thanks everyone! I was so excited that I won, It was a nice surprise in the middle of what has been a crazy work week! Just the pick-me-up I needed
Thanks for all your kind comments. it's funny to think that a year ago I would never have even attempted this layout because of all the circles. I was sure that I'd never be able to do circles because I do not own countless circle punches or a cutting machine. Someone on here (I think Deanna13 but I could me mistaken) told me once to just go for it and trace something - a plate or something else round - and cut it out by hand. I have had lots of practice now and I'm not afraid of circles anymore! I am thankful to ACOT and all the wonderful ladies here who have been supportive of trying new things and perfecting our craft. And thanks to ACOT for these wonderful challenges!!
Anyways, not sure where the sappiness came from, but I just wanted to say thanks and to encourage others who didn't try this layout - or anything else - because it looked too hard. I used to be that person and I've just learned so much and my technique has vastly improved because of the support and challenges here at ACOT!
I now return you to your previously scheduled business as I head back to writing reports at the end of this busy week.... tee hee
