OMG . . . how tacky.emjay704 wrote:Glad to hear it's not just me LOL - it is a bit annoying especially when "Just Adorable" is posted on a layout that's about the death of a family member or a layout along those lines - ya know she never even stopped long enough to see what the layout was about! OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
That is atrocious! I hope now that those who thought I was being too hard on this person see what I am talking about. It's not about what you say...it is the mass-production of comments for points, without even looking at the layouts that I find offensive!emjay704 wrote:Glad to hear it's not just me LOL - it is a bit annoying especially when "Just Adorable" is posted on a layout that's about the death of a family member or a layout along those lines - ya know she never even stopped long enough to see what the layout was about! It makes me sad when people abuse the system like that and end up taking the fun away from all of us. Like how there aren't points anymore for reviewing items we may not have bought from here but have in our stash. I mean, it's not that big of a deal...one point, but it was like a little "thanks!" for taking the time to write up our thoughts on products we've used. I know I read the reviews before I buy anything, so they are very helpful. I also understand how they lost patience over people who would give bad reviews for loads of things it didn't even sound like they'd tried without leaving a helpful reason for their dislike. I mean, I want to know something specific if you're going to low score an item. It's probably too much trouble, but it would be helpful to be able to report gross abuses like the ones described in this thread. It might be a way to have a warning sent to anyone who clearly isn't using the program as intended. But then, that really is more work for the admins and they have enough to do already. There may be no realistic way to stop things like this in a way that doesn't take good points programs away from all of us, and I would be very sad to see more go.
I've always worried that I posted too much of a similar comment. But I'm always paranoid about that kind of thing. Everyone does amazing to me and when I do post I have a hard time not writing something and it sounding the same.

But I highly doubt you would post something like, "Just Adorable" on a memorial layout.txbelle26 wrote:I've always worried that I posted too much of a similar comment.
