This is an awesome challenge! I chose the Mother's Day angle featuring me and my son. I have journaling about starting a garden with my son and plenty of layered flowers.

H - Holiday wrap (name of one of the papers)

D - diecuts (sizzix journal card and quickutz doily with year)
A - Authentique wreath sticker and American Crafts (white cardstock)

This was the first Christmas without my mom.  My niece and her were very close and I had found this picture of the two of them.  I had it framed and gave it to her that morning.

Hi all,

First, I did a layout about Mother's Day... kinda... I'm not a mother, and my mother is gone almost 20 years so I am not really wanting to dig around for a picture to scrap.  Instead, I chose to scrap about how I got my name... "Mama C".  My nephew named me Mama C when he was about 18 months old, and now, at age 25, he still calls me that. I totally LOVE my name.  Five of my seven nieces and nephews call me Mama C (the other two call me their own variation of it.) I've told him that he can call me Christi if he wants, but he insists, saying that it's the name he made up for me.    So, here is that layout:

I've noticed you're wondering about several May challenges, and have to say that the board moves pretty quickly, especially when we have  a new month of challenges and lots of discussion threads.  At the beginning of each month, the challenge hostesses choose their winners if that's part of the challenge.  Some edit the original post or put it in the bottom of the thread, or a few make separate posts.  You can usually find them under the "Contests and Challenges".  Most of the time Brandy adds the winners to the Master list, which she does out of the kindness of her heart.  Here's a link to May's, but I'm thinking a winner wasn't chosen for this one!
