So I pocket scrap, when I do a challenge does the entire page have to reflect the challenge or just a pocket (or two)? For instance the June Challenge to scrapbook an outdoor activity. Thanks in advance for clarifying! I really want to try out some July challenges, but I am trying to figure out how to make them work for the way I scrap.
I would guess it would be the whole page, since most folks scrap 12 x 12. But each challenge has a different hostess and we all make our own rules, so it will be up to each hostess.

I am confused on pocket scrapping. I am not familiar with it. As one of the hostess'es, once I know I can tell you for my challenge. I hope it can work for you!

Okay, I guess it will have to depend on the challenge (and the hostess) then. I mean, I can't exactly use the sketch to do a whole Project Life page, although I could use a sketch for one of the pockets, kwim? If it was a color challenge I could probably make it work for the whole page, but not necessarily a theme like 'outdoors' since one Project Life page typically covers an entire week. Hmmm...I will just have to play it by ear, but thanks for getting back to me!

Here's an example of one of my Project Life pages...
It's a way to scrap the day to day, all the little things that make up my life. If I have something where I have a lot of photos I add extra pocket pages or I scrap a LO and add it to the album. A lot of people consider a two page spread one week, but I typically use one page per week or do a two page spread for a month if I am trying to catch up/not much happened. I hope this helps clear up some of your confusion . I think it will depend on what the challenge is. I am sure I will be able to do at least a few of them.
I think you could incorporate my challenge for this. I will be posting July's tomorrow.

I can't wait to check it outoceanbreezes423 wrote:I think you could incorporate my challenge for this. I will be posting July's tomorrow.
I do smaller format pocket pages for my BOM challenge...........and I have done smaller format ones for other ppl's challengs--they are more able to hold the theme better
Even though I have never hosted a challenge, I would think that size would not matter since you can do a card for most of them. If you submit just the challenge part, it would not look out of place and who can tell size anyway without comparison?

Yeah, that makes sense, I didn't really think of it that way. Thanks!
Great question! I think most challenges allow for any kind of layout, and on mine, I allow for any project--layouts, cards, home decor, so I think pocket pages are great, too. Just show the whole layout (the whole page) and point out in your description how you followed the challenge in which pocket. And, maybe show a close up of it. Can't wait to see more of your work, and you are welcome to enter the challenges here!
