ok, so I live in Newfoundland, Canada. I live in the middle of the province and today we went "out around the bay" as we call it, so that we were by the ocean. We went to a town called Twillingate, which is in what's called "Iceberg Alley". Newfoundland is know to be colder than most provinces- it's not always as bad as people think haha- so icebergs in the spring/early summer happen every year. Well, THIS year is a banner year for icebergs!!! Now I know that lots of icebergs are not a good thing, global warming and all, but they sure are purdy Twillingate has been flooded with tourists from all over the world to take pictures of these beauties. They are smaller now than a few weeks ago, and in places there is lots of sea ice and "bergy bits" that have broken off. Twillingate is beautiful all the time, it's very unique, it's a photographers paradise. And we could not have asked for better weather!
It's a 2 hour drive from where I live. It was such a beautiful day. Here are some of my pics

Beautiful photos!! That looks like it would be a fun trip!! The snow (icebergs) mixed with the greenery of the land is really an awesome contrast!!
What gorgeous photos! Stunning icebergs and love the bright house and the fun guy sticking up from the trash can. Who are those handsome folks in the photos . ,You have some serious scrapping to do when you get home.
Love your pictures. We spent a week touring Newfoundland a few years ago. It was the best of all the provinces. So many sights to see. You have a lot of history with the U.S. too. My husband's family is Canadian.
WOW! thanks so much for sharing this with us. Just awesome!
