I have been trying to upload/link a picture for my avatar but have been unsuccessful. I have it on Flickr and it is 75x75 set to share. I use the bbc/url code but it doesn't work. I've tried the htlm code too but no luck. What am I doing wrong?

First, make sure you are trying to set it from your bio edit page (https://www.acherryontop.com/myaccount/edit_bio) There is an old place for setting an avatar that no longer works, but it 'should' not be posible to get to.

Next you want to put in the url for the image, not a bb code or html code. The url should start with "http://" (excluding the quotes)

I used the http code from Flickr but I get invalid code when I post it in my profile.   This is the link -  https://flic.kr/p/nss7YC   They have BBC and HTML too but this is the only http. It just doesn't want to link for some reason.

I finally got it. I posted the avatar to my gallery here and then used the http code from it. For some reason it just didn't like the Flickr code.
