I LOVE photo hunts!!!! I was so excited to run out with my camera and go around our little town! Have to go out of town this week and find a railroad crossing, but I will find!!!!

Oh, this will be a fun adventure.  I'm going to try and do this on Wednesday.  Hopefully I can find some good spots to take pics without getting run over by oncoming cars and trucks.

i wrote these down on my phone and today on the drive back home (and a couple at my mom's house saturday...) I was able to grab all but 2, and those shouldn't be a problem tomorrow. This was fun, because I got pictures from all along the drive home! will upload mine when I get the other two

5 your country flag - it took me a long time to catch it spread in the wind and the best if would do is half ~ as soon as I got back in the car the darn thing was straight out perfect!

this was so much fun! I took a lot of these on our drive back Monday, so we have lots of small town stuff in here, and we had fun! 


1  a bridge - outside Vicksburg Mississippi, bridges over the Mississippi river on the way back this weekend

2 a sign that says the name of your town/city - taken as we were just making it back home from our weekend trip!

3 a school - somewhere in North Louisiana...

4 a gas price sign - in North Louisiana

5 your country flag - at my mom's house while we were visiting!

Joannie this was such a good idea!! It was fun to hunt and take the photos and it's so fun to look at everyone's and see the same items in different towns and countries!!

I agree...plus, it's not everyday someone actually asks to see photos of the huge sign that denotes our town but people flock to it so much that a few years ago they had to create a parking area as people were parking nearby and running across the VERY busy road for years prior.  :)

I got my photos all taken on my way home from work.  I am so glad that you posted that little reminder, because I thought they were due tomorrow.  Anyway, I took my camera and the list with me to work.  Found half of the photos close to downtown Indy.  The other half in Plainfield/Avon.

1.  bridge - walked out of work and saw the bridges over the canal

2.  city sign - lucky not much traffic and I was able to stop on Dan Jones for this one.

3.  school - the old (refurbished) George Washington High School by the Zoo.

4.  gas price

5.  flag - found this one at the Indiana State and Eiteljorg Museum

6.  grocery store - Krogers in Plainfield

7.  railroad crossing - not bad pic for driving and snapping camera through windshield

8.  church

9. cemetery - found this on my way from downtown - turned on Tibbs where Central State was to head to Floral Park and found this really old cemetery.
Never knew it was there.  Dates back to 1821.

10.  tractor - found this tractor in the fields on Dan Jones.  Can't believe I got the pic with window down and just clicking camera as driving by.


This was fun.  Maybe, we should have it as monthly challenge like in the past.  I am going to think about it.
