Re: Clue #2
i'm thinking using torn pages from a book to make embellishments of some sort - like book paper rosettes or something similar - or those wreaths made of rolled up book pages etc.

Re: Clue #2
My first thought was making flowers from book pages.

Or maybe a Dr. Seuss title?

Or maybe using 50 Shades of Grey colored paper/cardstock/embelishments on a layout???  ImageImage

Re: Clue #2
Hmmm.. sounds like tearing pages out of books and using them somehow on a LO. This will be a hard one for me because as an avid reader and book collector (yes, the real ones with pages NOT the online kind) I don't think I could bring myself to desecrate a book with tearing pages. However, I love the look of book pages on lo's that's why I invested in a stamp that has words on it like a book to make faux book pages and also pp that has book pages on it. Perhaps I can find an old book in basement storage destined for goodwill Image

I won't part with any of mine - but I WILL part with one I buy at the second hand book store around the corner or lift at our office library!!

QUESTION - Does it matter if it's paperback or hardbound - and what size?????

It can be any book, including a phone book as long as there is print on it.

I already have a book that is missing pages. It was nes mess up printed book. I was 75% of the way done and then it went downhill after. It had the rest of the pages from the previous book in it.

Re: Clue #2
oh!!!  What if the challenge is to use the print on a page to somehow transfer it ONTO the layout somehow?!? I know I've seen tutorials on making washi that looks like print by taping tape on print and lifting it off etc. And I think there's a way to transfer print onto a page without using the actual paper.  I think this could be it!?

Hm, I have seen people use pages from old dictionaries and incorporate them into their scrapbook pages. But also I have seen transfer techniques using old book pages, also phone books or dictionaries...very intriguing....Image

Maybe use pages from a Disney book on a LO/project or to make an embellie.
