These are the wedding invitations I made for dd's upcoming wedding in June. I punched the butterflies from MS and EK Success layering punches. The inner cuts are Bazzill Bling cardstock and the colors are almost an exact match to the two deeper colors of the bridal party. The outer punch is Bazzill Bling Diamond. She is having eight bridesmaids... two will be in the purple color, two in the blue color, two in a light version of the purple color, and two in a light version of the blue color. I designed the flower motif using a font that is made up of silhouettes of all different flower stems and I colored them in Photoshop in the same four colors of the bridal party. I printed on invitation blanks that I got at Michael's. On the invitation I used my clear Sakura glitter pen to add some shimmer to the flower motif.
While I was using my Silhouette today I made the little gift bag using the same Bazzill cardstock I used for the butterflies. I am so in love with my Silhouette!
There are some close ups of the making of the butterflies in my gallery.
