This was a fun challenge for me.....I had the perfect photo for the pinks! I don't usually use too much pink, since my DGD is an orange head.....but it looks good!
My sister was an "orange head", lol, and I made tons of fun of her. Then she turned into a stunning auburn head, and then an even prettier auburn with strawberry blonde accents. I do not make fun of her anymore - in fact - I'm so jealous I could spit!! And I know - WHY do "orange" heads think they can't wear pink? Now a days they can wear anything. LOVE your layout!!! Thanks for adding to this challenge, and making me smile with my own memories.Katheder wrote:This was a fun challenge for me.....I had the perfect photo for the pinks! For this Challenge, I chose Princess Sour Cherry using hot pink.
I combined this with the Supply List Challenge.

Oh I so love your layout!!! The hot pink and black and a little of everything!! I'm stealing this one for sure!!! And your granddaughter gets prettier and prettier - NOT CUTE - PRETTY!!!!!Deanna13 wrote:For this Challenge, I chose Princess Sour Cherry using hot pink.

Hello Cuteness
You amaze me with your digi skills - and this is stunning - I'm loving the black that's being added to the colors. BUT OF COURSE you are a princess in your own right Nancy!!! Thanks for playing along!Ayla wrote:Here's mine...it's a remake of a layout I lost in the Great Computer Crash of 2013 lol. I think it must make me Princess Sour Cherry as it's mostly bright pinks?! lol
I used to like you, really, Kim. HOW EVIL - to do that in Easter eggs!!! Poor baby. Lexy must have thought the Easter bunny really hated her!!!average_kim wrote:Here's my entry! I went with Princess Sour Cherry and used bright pink. Bazzill's Bubblegum cardstock was the closest to "neon" pink that I had. But, you'll see that my title and story behind the layout are "sour," too! (And, actually, this LO looks brighter IRL!)
The story: My DH and his daughter wanted to play a joke on the kids for Easter, then her daughter ended up the brunt of all the joking!
Journaling opens up to reveal the rest of the story, and here it is: What started out as a harmless joke turned into hurt feelings this Easter! I filled lots of plastic eggs with candy, stickers, toys, and money. Some had notes like, "You get a Dr. Pepper!" Christina & Dave said I should put chores on some like, "Take out the trash." and "Do the laundry for a week." We never would have thought that one kid would get all five of those--Lexy! Christina's own daughter! Of course, we were just kidding about doing the chores, but she was upset for a while, until I traded her notes for more candy and Dr. Pepper!
The layout is stunning - I don't care if you don't think it's "pink" enough - I do!!! LOVE IT!! I just still think you are mean. I KNOW!!! I'll say "You won, but I gave your prize to someone else for this challenge?" Lexy is giving me the thumbs up, I can see it!!
Oh so pretty!!! A pretty "Princess layout" for the PRINCESSES of Cherryland!! You clever gal!! Hey, your own princesses on the layout look gorgeous!! Love the layout, it's so dainty and girly. Thanks for playing along!!!Sandi0805 wrote:Here's my layout. I chose Princess Maraschino and used soft pinks, pearls and ribbons. Pics of our breakfast with the Disney Princesses at EPCOT 2009.
Mostly sweet Maraschino but with a dash of Sour Cherry with the hotter pink - we all have a little of that ``bad girl`` in us right

Since I am not a "Pink" scrapper, this one took me out of my comfort zone until I saw this paper at Hobby Lobby. I bought the paper with this challenge in mind and then needed to hunt for a picture. Well Molli is a girl and thought it would go good against her brown coloring. This is what I came up with for Princess Maraschino.
Mildred - Mom to 2 girls and a husband (I tell people that I am a single mom of 3. Ages 59, 37 and 31) lol. And a proud Grandma to Orahn (7) Sawyer (5) and Mazie (3).
Oh I love it!!! LOVE those roses along the border and how girly!! Great job, and yep, we all have that little touch of naughtiness in us. Thanks for doing the challenge! And I so love your Title!!sweetsour wrote:Mostly sweet Maraschino but with a dash of Sour Cherry with the hotter pink - we all have a little of that ``bad girl`` in us right
Mildred, this is such a simple layout - but the more you look, you see all the fine details! You did an awesome job! I love it - it's executed perfectly. OK, but if we buy you a lot of pink Washi tape, would you be a "Pink" person???? I'm thinking that's a big YUP!!mgehrke wrote:Since I am not a "Pink" scrapper, this one took me out of my comfort zone until I saw this paper at Hobby Lobby. I really bought the package for the other rolls So to answer your question................Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.........sherelm wrote:Mildred, this is such a simple layout - but the more you look, you see all the fine details! It's always "ok" to combine or mix up or "forget" something - my goal is that you get the photos scrapped!! That being said, my dear girl, you needed MOTIVATION to scrap these adorable photos? Shame on you!! LOL I love your layout, love the cute mixtures of paper, and the wonderful execution of design! Thanks for doing my challenge!Craftyshannon wrote:I'm so glad you posted this challenge.
