 Tried some "new to me" hand lettering on this card for a bridal shower. Hand cut my own quotation marks to look like one of those in the examples...and just realized I put the top ones on upside down. I'll fix it before I send it

Here is mine. I hope I did it right. I used horseshoes for the quotation marks highlighting the word "cowgirl', then I added the quote at the bottom.

I bought six cubes to organize my paper and was very surprised when I opened up the instructions and saw it said "Don't Panic". In the end they weren't that hard to put together. I made this layout for the April Graphic Design and Old is New Again Challenges. I  loved the challenge to use quotation marks, it was a perfect way for the quote to really stand out from the page.

I used studio calico cork quotes on the title and the journal card even has giant quotes preprinted.

Here is my take, I chose to put them around my title and use my title as the jump off for my journaling too. This is a qoute that DD said as they were getting ready to get in the car and go (top most photo is a pic of when she's yelling it!).
I combined this with BF 65. Thanks!

I used Basic Grey Chipboard quotes on the sticker that reads: Nobody can fully understand the meaning of LOVE unless they have owned a DOG.

Several years ago my daughter wrote a letter to Santa asking him to hide the pickle ornament (a German tradition my mom introduced us to).  The letter was so sweet as was her misspelling of "pickle".  Perfect opportunity to use quotes in the title!

Hi all - my niece used to make what we called her "Scuggly Face".  Here's my layout.

I did a 2 page layout in memory of one of my best friends that passed away from cancer 09/11.  I was able to use 23 pics (ordered wallets and lots of cropping) for this layout.  Pics of our many trips and family get togethers during the short 5 years that I know you. 
The journaling reads:  "Too Early"  Sean Allen    08/31/66 - 09/09/11.   Sean came into our lives in the summer of 2006 when we both moved to Avon, IN.  Our WHOLE family became instant friends.  Some of our most memorable trips were to Disney, Kings Island, Myrtle Beach and camping.  Countless family dinner get togethers.  We were more like family than friends!  Getting to know you for only 5 years was worth more than not knowing you at all.  It was way "to early" to lose you.   We Miss You!!

As soon as I read this challenge this pic and the quote popped into my head . When ever one of my kids looked at me with this expression after asking them a question I called it the duh look, because it seemed like their brain froze and their face looked like this. The journaling reads: This was taken when Robert and I went on a run with J.D. to San Diego CA. We had so much fun. J.D. or I must have asked Robert the duh question. lol

 I used a sketch and the inspirational quote "You Only Live Once, but if  you do it right, once is enough"   from another site's challenge, so here is my hubby bungee jumping after climbing the 150 foot tower after white water rafting all day! "YOLO" in quotes, gives the extra punch, as it is also a somewhat current catch-phrase.
 

OMG those photos are awesome and boy your hubby sure is adventurous!! Love how you quoted "YOLO"!

This is my page for this challenge....my big quotes are very old rubons from Autumn Leaves, and I quoted a pre-printed quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson printed on vellum. 

This layout captures my DD1's hike into Badland Basin and the Salt Flats in Death Valley NP, the lowest point in North Ameridca---- which she did the day AFTER climbing to the top of Mt. Whitney, the tallest point in the continental U.S.!  Energetic woman she is!

PP is MME, rick rack is Wrights, Tree die is LA LA Land, Letter stickers are Doodlebug and American Craft Thickers, Scallop border cardstock is from Bassill, and Rub on borders are from Fontwerks.

This is an awesome layout! Love all the different papers and colors and I LOVE the big quotation marks!

Such a bright page with wonderful layering and details! I love how the quotation marks are smaller than the word "hello"! Great effect!
