Haven't scrapped in almost two weeks, but I'm trying to get this done. I started on it earlier and then the boys woke up. Hopefully between nap time tomorrow and locking myself in my scrap space for a bit after hubby gets off work, I can get this done. I wanted to start last night, but after looking for my cherries, the long day (and not enough sleep...especially with a cold) caught up with me. It was the first night in MONTHS that I've fallen asleep before hubby got home from his second job (they close at midnight Friday and Saturday nights) and I still slept in a good amount today. Feeling better, but wish my voice would come back!
I managed to finish it already! I went with a really simple look...besides the little dots in the top, the multi sized photos, and the mat in the center of the layout, you wouldn't know it was from the same sketch, though. Anyone else get a kick out of how ONE element can completely change the direction of a page? For me, I added a teeny element to even out photo spacing and realized after placing it there that there was no other white on the page...so then I ended up changing a ton of things from there. I'm really happy with how it turned out and except for a couple of very small elements, the entire thing was made using ONE COLLECTION...that doesn't happen much these days. Can't wait to get photos taken so I can post!
oh crap, how did I miss this one??? Love it!!!
