{Please read. I've had several that have forgotten to add the buttons.}
My technique for this month is using Cutwork. I've kind of gotten away from doing this much lately so thought we'd give this a try. On a recent layout I cut out the tiny elephants from this cute baby boy paper. You must also use 5+ buttons.
{Cutwork is cutting any particular shape from a piece of patterned paper. These are shapes such as flowers, keys, snowmen, circles, etc. that are already on the patterned paper.}

What a great challenge and what a precious layout!
I am just IN LOVE with this layout!!! I might just scrap lift it
oooh great challenge! I learned this as "fussy cutting" and it can definitely be tricky depending on what exactly you're trying to cut out. Thanks for a great challenge, I'm sure I'll be able to find something! lol

Yeah, I've heard it called that too, Carolyn! Can't wait to see what everyone does with this one.cajenkins81 wrote:oooh great challenge! Love your sample layout! As I have that very background pop, it is going to be hard to ignore temptation to just scrsplift what you have here Deanna

I so love cutwork - and buttons. And they need to be threaded! (anal me!!)
Fussy cutting takes time, but the results are awesome! Thanks for the push to do more of this!!!!

I don't do it often either and I usually just cut out small things. Looking forward to your work!beachlover wrote:oh, this is one of those things I avoid doing also! may be a good goal for myself this month!

I gave this a try. I am not sure if I did okay. I cut out several of my embellishments from printed paper and stickers.
Thanks for the challenge!
