I made this card for my mom for St. Patrick's Day. I was going to use a lighter green color for the card base, but didn't have anything that matched so I used clear acetate instead. I cut out the shamrock with my Silhouette, I added the swirls so it wasn't so plain and so it fit with the challenge.
This is wonderful Donna! Love all the different greens you picked, set off by the yellow. Great title work also!!! Thanks so much for doing my challenge!Retiree3 wrote:Here is my challenge.

I LOVE this! The torn edges, the faux stitching, the striped edge around the layout! Great job! Thanks so much for doing my challenge!Katheder wrote:Here's my page! Although the base paper looks black in the photo, it is actually dark green chalkboard from DCWV. I used green and yellow papers from Reminisce (OLD OLD), and the required swirl is cut using a Cheery Lynn die. The flower is Prima.

I know my swirl is white but since this was a layout about it snowing on St. Patrick's Day, I wanted to use white. Sorry for not completely following the rules!

Green is my go to color so I thought this was going to be easier then it was. Honestly the swirls gave me the biggest issue but thanks to some stickles and a pattern... they are on there.

Oh! I've been trying to come up with some idea that would work with just green and yellow - and you gave me the perfect idea! Thank you!gonecamping wrote:Here is my entry for the challenge. When I saw it was green and yellow my first thought was YES! I can do this one! DH and I are HUGE Oregon Duck Fans. We make the trip to Eugene every home game and volunteer. We get to see the games for free and it is so much fun! My swirls are some brads I found in my stash. One of the Ducks motto is WIN THE DAY!
Green and Yellow...my favorite colors!

Here's my layout "Signs of Spring" using only yellow (background PP) and green (CS) colors with swirl embellies:
