OMG I know what you mean. I pre-ordered in September and swore I would never do it again. Well, when CHA came around I pre-ordered two Fancy Pants collections. They haven't come in yet and I'm going nuts!! I can't do this again, it is too stressful, lol.

I preorder all the time. Just ask Heidi or Clint! I am on live chat with them all the time. They don't seem to mind and I buy things so it's a win win thing

I thought about pre-ordering the Basic Grey Mon Ami line. But, like you said, I think it would only make me nuttier and antsier.

I did my first and only pre-order with the Chickaniddy Lines! I was thrilled with the results! It took a month almost to the day from when I placed the pre-order. I just checked every other or third day to see if it had shipped. No stress here....just a tad bit of I "WANT IT"
I seem to not like the overall pallet of colors this year. Good thing!!! I have way too much paper. I fell in love with Everyday Moments from Elle's Studio so I ordered that line in when it arrived. All they showed on the blog was the sneaks. Couldn't resist that. I'm also now waiting on Basic High Line to arrive. Since it is suppose to arrive in store in April I might pre-order after HLSR. I also since last August purchased straight from Elle's Studio their monthly kits except for the Dec. Kit which I didn't care for. And this month they also had a set of veneers they didn't release to retail outlets.....so cute Valentines theme. Got the kit for free with my $10 GC. I have since got another so next month's kit is free if I like it.
Now a pet peeve! When I ordered the Chickaniddy lines I ordered the collection pack which was 24 papers, the Sticker Sheets (elements and alphas) for $17.95. Ok, it didn't sink in my head that it was 2 of every paper. I promptly came back and ordered both sticker sheets again, more enamel hearts and more of the darling diamond stickers. I'll read a little closer next time. Basic Grey Highline Collection Pack is $17.95 for the 12 papers from the line and the element sticker sheet. Really....I get half the amount for the same price.....REALLY!
I have promised myself to be a little more careful in the future about how I buy what I want!
Then that's it with paper from this CHA. My embellishment hoarding I'm sure will continue! And I need background stamps!!!! And dies!!! That's bad enough!

Shame on me!!! I also like G45 By the Sea! I have photos of the Portland Headlight on Cape Elizabeth, MA that begs to be scrapped with this line!!! I have to look at the number of photos to know how much to order! Another one of those sneaks didn't get me inspired! But love love the working lighthouse Jim (The Gentleman Crafter) built for the G45 booth at CHA!

I "accidentally" put a preorder item in my cart once and it was something that they did not even have an expected shipping date for yet... It was when ACOT first started the preorder thing. Let's just say I am not patient. I did not know there was a preorder in my order and could not figure out where my goodies were! I had to email ACOT and they were awesome! They were able to take that item out of my cart so my stuff could ship out! I am not a fan of the preorders b/c I don't like to wait!

I don't do pre-orders...I am fine with something sitting in my cart for weeks or sometimes, months...but as soon as I buy it, I want my shipping notice RIGHT THAT SECOND...so patience for happy mail is not my thing.
