that is me! I just don't care for Prima. Never really have--although I do have some flowers from waaaaayyyy back and one set of the wooden embellies. I don't do flowers much and the colors are too soft for me.
BUT maybe you can change my mind?!?!? You know the ----- syndrome I have.
Show me something made with Prima. Can be yours or something you have seen that has struck your eye!!!
hmmmmmmm can I be swayed???
OoooOOO....great idea Sus. I'm not much of a Prima fan either. So I can't help you, but maybe the cherries can persuade the both of us!

LOL! You know what is going to happen??? They are going to persuade us and then we will go in the store and it will be gone. LOLblbabe1234 wrote:OoooOOO....great idea Sus. I'm not much of a Prima fan either. So I can't help you, but maybe the cherries can persuade the both of us!

I am not a huge prima person either...but for some reason I am reallllllly liking the Free Spirit line................................minus all the expensive flowers..lol
Hmmmm . . . same here. Except for some jars of flowers from way back, I don't have anything Prima. But for some reason, I'm being drawn to the new Cartographer.
OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.

I don't use much of their stuff, either. Too expensive and too bulky for the most part. I did get some of their wood veneer--will have to see if I have used them!

Wow. I posted here and somehow it ate my post. LOL
I LOVE Primas and other brands of dimensional flowers! I have a LOT. I am also enjoying making my own dimensional flowers now as well. I used to use Primas on almost all my layouts - anytime it needed an embellishment I would grab the Primas, and although I think they looked nice, I have greatly curbed my flower usage. I felt like I was using way too much on all my layouts, so now I use them in moderation.

Thanks for pulling my layout!!
I like their veneers but I find their paper patterns too delicate for me to work with. The flowers are gorgeous but bulky. I was just looking at some of the more themed veneers, wedding specifically, and while they are great, I don't need 6 of 6 very specific designs.
Oh well.
Thankfully there's dozens of manufacturers so there's something for everyone.

I like some of the older flowers they had but not a big fan of Primas in general. I used to love flowers a lot on layouts, and I still Love how they look and buy lots of flowers because they're pretty but can never seem to find a good layout to use them on! Lol

I love Prima! Not so much on some of their bulkier flowers because they just don't fit in my albums, but I like the more basic flatter type flower. Their recent lines are alittle overly flowery and not sure what I'll end up ordering.
Here's a couple of mine using the Prima Wishes & Dreams line.

Here's another more recent one using the Prima Anna Marie line. I do love these papers as they are alittle brighter than some. I ended up using Petaloo flowers though as they were flatter.
If you are an oddball, then so am I! I've never been a big Prima fan - just not my style. I think the only thing of theirs I've used on a layout were these totally cute birdie clips:
I bought them specifically for this layout - I rarely do that!

I adore Prima flowers- not the flat ones, the "bulky" ones- but it's all about what you're in to. I have tons of flt flowers and I have no desire to use them. I love the flowers for layouts and mixed media. I have only had a few of their papers, but the new Cartographer and Stationer's Desk or on my wishlist to get,
Here are a couple of my own projects that use Prima flowers
And I absolutely adore these doll stamps!! The flowers on these are Prima too

See that is what I am talking about! I did not even see this line when it came in the shop and I love it. Why am I not surprised it is Deanna that "made me do it" ?Deanna13 wrote:I love Prima!
