Okay, so I'm not sure how many of you follow 'organizing trends' in the scrappy world...it almost seems weird that there is such a thing to me, lol. BUT, there is a spinning thingy that people love (I have one) from Harbor Freight that is $19.99. It requires a lot of work to assemble and notoriously comes missing pieces because the box isn't sealed securely. I enjoyed putting mine together, but Harbor Freight is harder to come by for some folks. If you go to homedepot.com and search 'stacking carousel' there are individual organizers that you can buy and they stack together. They are only $1.00 each, so for $4 you can get the same number of trays as the one from Harbor Freight and it requires NO WORK to assemble...they just stack together. This is apparently going around in the coupon world since they are usually just under $4 each, so they are no longer available online to ship, but you can do online purchase and store pick up. The store I got mine from had 40 but only 4 on the shelf (although it was clearly known at that store since there were a dozen on hold at customer service) and didn't know if the remaining inventory was on a truck or something since they had JUST unpacked two boxes from overstock and put them on the shelf yesterday and people have been going in buying them up like crazy. They have 6 compartments and a stack of three (if you cut off the pole on the top unit) will fit into an Expedit cubby or you can go as high as you'd like on a desk or counter.
I can't see any photos. Darn it. I think I know what you're talking about though.
I like it, too bad I have no room for something like that right now! I am so tempted!!!

Thanks for sharing! I have a Harbour Freight spinner and seriously LOVE it ... I was thinking about getting another, but now that I know they're notorious for missing pieces I'm reconsidering. This home depot one just might do the trick!
They are very cool but like some others have said, I have absolutely no room.
I've seen numerous people have to return them only to find out that they had purchased the last one and then have to wait for more to come in. The boxes aren't taped really well, so the screws tend to fall out in transit. I had no issues with mine but I did count every piece for beginning assembly. I didn't mind putting it together because I really enjoy that process, but the missing parts and time it takes to put together are the top two complaints I hear about them. I'm thinking of taking one of mine and sawing off the pole and using it as a catch all on my desk.citygirl22 wrote:Thanks for sharing! I have a Harbour Freight spinner and seriously LOVE it ... If you do, make sure to share pictures of what you end up storing in yours. I think they are great to have handy for all sorts of little things!1grandma wrote:Thanks for sharing. I think I will have to get some of these.
Just did a search for it at home depot. And it says sold out online and in store. Guess people really are buying them up.

Awesome!! I definitely think it's a great deal and even if it doesn't work in your scrap space, they will obviously be useful in your garage or in other places where you tend to 'collect' odds and ends.Ayla wrote:LOL...I just bought 10 of them...bought out my husband's locale!
