Good Evening Cherries!!
Hope everyone had a great Friday!! Looks like I may actually get some scrapping done tonight after all Decided that with having sub-zero temperatures here today that shampooing my carpet will just have to wait. Going to try and get my PL spread for this week done (even though I know there's still one more day this week) and then work on the album I'm making of my niece's first year. We're supposed to get hit bad with snow tonight/tomorrow, so I anticipate getting lots of work done this weekend. PLUS.... I got order #2 of 3 of my ACOT orders Yea for new goodies to play with

I got a 2 pager done, and now we are having a blizzard. I am not happy since I have a very long drive to go on tomorrow. Anyway, I did this one for the "What's On TV" Challenge.
Mildred - Mom to 2 girls and a husband (I tell people that I am a single mom of 3. Ages 59, 37 and 31) lol. And a proud Grandma to Orahn (7) Sawyer (5) and Mazie (3).
Hey Cherries! Been out all day with my mom. I took her to her dr this morning and then she treated us to Panera Bread on the way home. We picked it up and brought it back to her house and got some for my dad too. We had a nice lunch together, and then me and my mom went to the supermarket together. I wanted to help her because she has been having trouble with her leg and it was so very cold out. I helped her with her groceries and then I came home. I did my own food shopping too while I was with her so I don't have to do that now. DH is going to be home with veggie pizza soon and we'll relax and watch tv tonight. I didn't get to finish getting the envelopes printed for the save the date cards because I wasn't home all day, so that is the plan for tomorrow. Once they are out, it will be time to scrap, scrap, scrap!
Crazy weather and temps everyone is having. We are at 16 with a wind chill of 5 right now, which is better than the single digits and negative wind chills we have had the last few days. And tomorrow it looks like we may even be approaching 30! Wooo Hooo a heat wave! LOL!
Stay warm everyone and stay safe on the roads. Mildred, have a safe road trip tomorrow!

Oh you lucky dog! Usually I'd be in the same group as you, but not during this latest storm!CarrieG wrote:im hoping everyone has a reprieve from the weather over the weekend..............we ended up with a beautiful and almost warm day.......so have faith that it is heading its way across the US..hehe

I keep seeing this and some days I feel like I need a 'scrap a month' or a 'scrap a week' (if I'm lucky) type post.
Glad you are home and had a good time with your mom!pawprints wrote:Hey Cherries! Been out all day with my mom. Denise, most of us don't even scrap every day. Most of us aren't very lucky. And we end up talking about other things too. Just come by when you can and you can tell us anything! Scrappy wise - you can look at pics or TAKE PICTURES! And that's something scrappy! You can browse the ACOT store and that is something scrappy! You can even dream about your next layout and that counts too!redsonic20 wrote:I keep seeing this and some days I feel like I need a 'scrap a month' or a 'scrap a week' (if I'm lucky) type post.

Brandy I did this one for your January Fashion Challenge. Boy was it a challenge at first, then all of a sudden it fell together and then I got out of control. LOL

Oh, cool! I was always so intimidated by these posts! We take daily photos here. My hubby listens to the Dan Patrick show and while we were prego with our oldest, Dan Patrick gave one of the men there a camera and a challenge to take a photo a day of the baby his wife was about to have because babies change the most in the first year. He took hold of that and we did it...but after a year, I didn't know how to stop...soooo, I haven't. Riley is almost 3 1/2 and we have a photo (usually dozens) of him (sometimes asleep because I forget until after I've put him to bed), everyday. Parker is almost 1 and we're doing the same thing with him. Every birthday, hubby vows to stop but he knows it would break my heart (the couple of times I thought I had missed a day and fortunately didn't...like I took pictures of them after 11 and some crossed into the next day but I never took anymore later in the day, I was so sad until I realized I had taken pictures, even if it was based on a technicality) so he keeps going, begrudgingly. Riley is starting to hide from the camera because he's tired of it...BUT because he does have such familiarity with the camera, he loves to be the one taking pictures. He got his own little kid friendly digital camera for Christmas and loves it.blbabe1234 wrote:Denise, most of us don't even scrap every day. Most of us aren't very lucky. My youngest son also likes to take pictures, so I got him his own camera for Christmas. It is identical to my first decent digital point and shoot, but he's 11 and better able to take care of a real one lol. I love seeing what they see thru their eyes! 3 years ago, when Ali was in her first winterguard group, he was always the one to video tape their competitions thru my little camera like the one he has now...my little helper!redsonic20 wrote:Oh, cool!
