Welcome Kathy! I am lucky enough to live 20 miles from ACOT, and they are a local shop that ships literally world wide. That said, they don't have a retail front, so I can't shop it like an Archiver's (I have 2 Archiver's within 2 hours, but have only been to one of them and then only twice - I am blessed to have great local scrapbook stores). I don't believe they go to the CKC...it's a family run business and don't have a huge staff to go to the various shows like that. But it's awesome, they are wonderful and friendly, and everyone on the boards is great too. Stay around and get to know us!

Archiver's is closing by me as well and I know how bad it sucks. But I can honestly say I have been here for over 10 years and even when I had a lss store I would still shop here. Great customer service and they always have promo codes to help with shipping. Not to mention every time you purchase goodies you get points, and also when you post to the message board and leave love in the gallery. Those points will add up and for every 1000 you get 5.00 off!
(ooohhh and also you can cherry (or snowflake hunt in the store to add up even more points!!)

Welcome Kathy! It's wonderful to see another Houston area person! I have two homes but the closest to you is in Angleton (near Lake Jackson/Freeport)! I have another in Groesbeck....affectionally I refer to it as the ranch in my posts! I am sad I won't have Archivers to stop at when I travel to the ranch in what I call the back way coming through Brookshire.
