You are scrapping something and you think to yourself why didn't I take a picture of this.
I am scrapping my pumpkin carving photos from 2009.
I have some great photos of us all carving pumpkins together.
But I only got one photo of the finished pumpkins and it was only my daughter's pumpkin. All the other pumpkins we carved that year I don't have any pictures of. We use to do like 10 pumpkins when we lived in Reno. But now we just don't have the time and are down to 2-3 pumpkins.
But I wish I had pictures of those 2009 pumpkins.. the front yard looked awesome!!
On well!!

Story of my life.
Mildred - Mom to 2 girls and a husband (I tell people that I am a single mom of 3. Ages 59, 37 and 31) lol. And a proud Grandma to Orahn (7) Sawyer (5) and Mazie (3).
Yes, this happens to me all the time too - and I ALWAYS have a camera with me! I will have 3 or 4 photos of the event but still be missing that "perfect" shot to complete the page!
I SURE DO!!!
LOL....had to scream it! Last time I did that was when I was taking photos of Cottle County Courthouse last summer! OMG....Kim were you absolutely nuts!!! So smitten with it being Memorial Day weekend I couldn't get enough of the crosses on the lawn representing all of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to our country. Then it was the courthouse itself that drew me in. When I went to print the photos I realized I didn't take a photo of the courthouse!!! REALLY KIM!!!! Cottle County is 13 hours from my house in Angleton and nine hours from the ranch.
Whew....fortunately I found a photo online with limited use rights. Means I have it to scrap....but not share online!

Do it all the time. This year I forgot to even take any pictures of DD on Halloween. Ughh!
I do it all the time, too! I recently did 2 layouts where I didn't have a "finished" product in them--baking my mom's recipe for pumpkin pie and when my two oldest painted our own nativity scene. And, I didn't get a single photo of DH opening a Christmas present last year--that's strange, really . . .

Right there with you! I do it all the time. And that is a problem for me because I keep my camera in my purse and I have no excuse for not taking pictures.

Yes!! I've done that too. I used to go way overboard on taking pictures, but the last few years I end up wishing I had pictures that I didn't take.

Yep! I was at an event last night. Took pics of everyone that attended, but me and one other lady (who also had a camera). Hers wasn't working right, so we depended on my cell camera. But I don't think anyone got me in a shot. Oh well.
