I had the entire house to myself as my son was at work and my husband went hunting! So, I took advantage of the time alone and started on a project for a friend! She lost her mother, her father, and her dog all in the course of one year!!!! I'm making an altered window with pictures of them using this kit: It went SO well with the pictures I had to work with!! She has been dropping subtle hints that she wants something done with the few pictures she has of her parents. So, for Christmas I'm giving it to her. I can't say enough about this kit!! Very nice to work with!! I'll post pictures of my completed project soon! I just had a nice, quiet, creative day!!!

How wonderful! Looking forward to seeing! I got to scrap this afternoon which was the first time in several days.
Hoping to post pics tomorrow...so long as I can get Cricut Craft Room to re-download onto my computer! I had to reboot my computer and lost all my downloads and I can't get it to download now. SO frustrating!! This kit was beautiful! I loved the colors....they would work great for a heritage album!
Can't wait to see the finished project. I'm sure she'll love it. Those papers are really cool--I wonder if there's more in the store here . . .

Very thoughtful. This collection is beautiful and sounds perfect for your gift.
I'm looking forward to seeing your creation! You are a sweet dear friend!!!
YAY!! Phew...took me all weekend long, but I got it done!! I hope she likes it! I'm not sure I'm going to be able to wait until Christmas to give it to her, though!!! http://www.acherryontop.com/gallery/181 ... red-window
Thank you!! Those are the only pictures she has!! I had to take them off of my son's FB account....they were pictures of the original picture. Printing the photos and getting them to look right was the hardest part!kennabeans wrote:It turned out beautiful!!
Thanks!! I'm hopeful! LOL!! I think she will. I know her taste pretty well, and I've made her things before and all of them are hung in her house somewhere!suewho372 wrote:That is awesome! I know she will love it!
First off...congrats on having a day full of scrapping. That's great! Especially when things come together as (or better than) you planned.
Secondly, what an amazing thing to do for someone who has lost so much. She will treasure every last layout you give her. <3

You did a beautiful job. You were right, that line was perfect for those pictures. I can't wait to hear how your friend likes it. I really believe she is going to LOVE it.
