Hi Zita! Welcome to the community
To jump into the challenges, just follow the links that Glo posted above. Once you've uploaded a project to the gallery, you can copy the image (just highlight the image with your mouse, then copy) and paste it into the message board thread for the challenge you're participating in. Most of the challenges also have a special gallery folder you can add your image to. To do that, just click on the appropriate box under the Contest & Challenges header when you're uploading.
Hope that helps & look forward to seeing your work!

Welcome! I had to LOL at your term "uncomputery!" I guess I am too! But it's super easy; if I can do it, you can, too! Good luck, and if you need further help, just ask. Everybody here is so nice to help walk you through any problem. Can't wait to see your work!
Kim
Welcome Zita, I can't wait to see your work. Like everyone else has said, if you have a question, just post it and someone will answer you. No question is a dumb question here. So ask away.
Mildred - Mom to 2 girls and a husband (I tell people that I am a single mom of 3. Ages 59, 37 and 31) lol. And a proud Grandma to Orahn (7) Sawyer (5) and Mazie (3).
Hi, Zita! Welcome to acot! "Just ask" is the words I live by here. There are several really good reasons to join us here: we are a great group of scrappers. We love to play. You get points for posting anything which help you to buy more. It is just plain fun here! ACOT does all that it can to make us feel welcome and help us do whatever it is that we need to do. And every now and then, we get to help each other through our lives.
Bibi
welcome to the boards! i'm not tech savvy by any means..but there are some great cherries here that are!
Welcome to ACOT! One to remember, we've ALL been the "new kid" on the block here at ACOT! Just ask away.

Hi and welcome. If you have ANY questions at all, someone will lead you in the right direction. I hope to see your things soon, and that you will be comfortable enough to jump right in to some of the challenges. This is a great place to call "home", both people and store are great! Welcome!
Susan
I hope we didn't scare her off - she's not posted since her original message!
thankyou ladies. i poked around on the gallery and think i have a better idea of how to post things. a couple questions still. are all the challenges 12x12 scrapbook pages? i very rarely do 12x12 or even 8x8. maybe most of my stuff isnt even considered scrapbook:/ my latest scrapbook is made from lunchsacks and the one before it a deck of cards. would i post these things under crafts?
no i didnt get scared off lol, however to add to my uncomputery skills i then read my messages on my kindle and couldnt figure out how to answer them. sigh, for those of you that love the term "uncomputery" a little background. my brother is a computer nerd, handsome, funny and charming but a total computer nerd none the less. so to A. poke fun at him and us a little and B. make sure no one is confused at who has the skills and who does not and C. to make sure ppl really understand we have no clue on computery stuff.....my SIL and i coined the words computery (ppl that know what they are doing) and uncomputery (her and i)
and one more question on the sketch challenges. is it always a 12x12? the the idea is to just follow the format of the sketch as close as possible?

Its however the sketch inspires you. Up until 2011, I was scrapping in 8 1/2 X 11 format, so my layouts were always "smaller" than the sketch.
You can also flip the sketch over - upside down, or 90 degrees...whatever fits YOUR scrappy style and YOUR pics. Maybe you like the placement of the photos. Or, you'll see alot of smaller photo style sketches. Alot of us print our pics by 4X6, so sometimes we'll use one photo in place of 2-3 photo style sketches. Its up to you.
