I can only get un-du online, and I believe that is how much the shipping was per bottle the last time I purchased it about 2 years ago or even longer. Thankfully it lasts me a long time. I was going to purchase a couple, but not at those shipping prices. I hate it that they made the stores take them off their shelves. I hope you find them locally.

Re: Guess I will have to buy my Un-du
I just purchase 2 bottles on Amazon. I paid 17.98 and no shipping. I guess that's still expensive, but I go through it pretty often. That ATG sure sticks well... lol.

I think the shipping is so expensive because it is classified as "hazardous material." Stupid post office!

It's liquid. The USPS thinks liquid = hazardous material anymore. I think it's a way to handle all liquids faster for them, and then charge us more in the long run.

Ah ha! I looked it up! I haven't heard of it. I understand why it is regulated now. It is 90-100 heptane which is highly flammable (flashpoint of 25F) Deptartment of Transport requires hazmat labeling and hazmat certified shipper for transport which ups the trans cost tremendously. on a different note : The website said many Walmart stores are now carrying it!

It's a chemical that breaks down adhesive. It smells similar to paint thinner or turpentine - not as strong but it reminds of things like that.

yeah it reminds me of kerosene. I didn't know the stores stopped selling it - I thought you could still get it at Hobby Lobby. I still have the same bottle I purchased years ago... not sure if it works anymore, but it's still smelly.

Re: Guess I will have to buy my Un-du
I started ordering directly from their website when they stopped selling it at the stores. Then they came out with a VOC compliant formula. I don't think it works as well as the original formula which fortunately I can purchase in my state. Their site stated that they sell it at Walmart now. I can't scrap without the stuff.
