Re: How do you color?
I use Touch markers ... very similar to Copics but much cheaper. I buy them at DeSerres, an art store chain here in Canada. They are made in Japan (I think?) and I'm not sure where they're sold in the US but I highly recommend them. I have a few Copics as well and the Touch markers are seriously exactly identical!

KelB wrote:I use Copics now. I tried a pack of the spectrum noir markers I picked up at J's and I find them a LOT harder to use vs the copics and will just add copic colors as needed.

Oh my goodness, I would be interested in learning why they were harder to use. I have all the spectrum noir markers. My only complaint has been I have had a couple of defective pens.

now to answer the question at hand. I use water color pencils and a blender pen, I sometimes, use my markers on my stamps then stamp,or I will use my spectrum noir markers.

Re: How do you color?
I too would like to know why the Spectrum Noir pens are harder to use - I've considered buying those. Also, can someone tell me about the Distress Markers? I would like to try them, but haven't heard enough about using them that I would actually invest.

Re: How do you color?
I use whatever. Copic markers, regular colored pencils with hmm that stuff to mute them, twinkling H20's, stickles, perfect pearls, dimensional pearls, crayons, chalk pencils, etc. Get different results with different mediums but all look good usually.
