Thanks, we've done a bunch of IVF cycles the past 5 years and unfortunately it doesn't always equal a pregnancy and pregnancy for me doesn't always equal a take home baby.
No budget. Adhesive is all I buy regularly. If i have some extra i will get some stuff here or at m's or Joann's or HL.
Usually only buy sale stuff or coupon. I have really been tight on myself the past several months just a couple dollars here and there if i found something. I have been saving points since NSD have over 6000. May have to use some pretty soon

No budget here neither. I do try to buy only sales at the stores and use my points and codes shopping here. Some months I feel I've spent too much so i'll tell myself to slow off a bit. That's when it's best if I just don't go into a store at all! My latest big buy was my cuttle bug, so I'm trying hard to be good for awhile. We have a trip planned in Oct I need to think about!
Confession! I stepped into Michaels today and bought 2 new Halloween stamps...on a whim! Oh well <sigh>

I set my budget at about $75/month. But of course that's just online shopping and doesn't include shipping. If Thickers go on sale somewhere, well I have to get those. And the budget doesn't include necessities like adhesive of course. And then there's the stuff on sale that you have to pass to get to the adhesive, like that cute Washi tape that I just got for 40% off at Joanns. Of course, it's really a stupid number when I think about it, but it does keep me in line and make me recheck my basket for things that I just MUST have.

Praying for you... I know everyone has a story, but my best friend did the same thing and as soon as she stopped worrying about it, it happened. I know that is easier said than done, but I so hope you have a similar story.

Thanks for the kind words but as someone struggling over 10 years I don't worry about it. That doesn't cure infertility if the magic cure was stopping worrying there'd be no need for IUI and IVF. It's bound to happen for couples who are trying if you think of the odds,if there are no underlying issues.. I've gotten pg without treatment and unfortunately had an ectopic and almost died. Just like when people tell people just adopt and you'll get pg, sure there are cases where that's true and cases it's not. Hope no hurt feelings but I pride myself on teaching people about infertility and loss. Here is a great link sharing a little more about infertility

Budget!!!! Are you kidding!
I just received the big order I placed a week ago which I used 16K points on. And then have ordered twice more. Most is Christmas presents on those orders. The order I placed today was for a pre-order item that came in and I need 3 and there were only four available. I also added a set of dies I really want. For the very first time I actually paid outright for my shipping of something that was for me. It was only $2.99.
I was able to spend through the late fall and winter last year and most years I don't because our income falls off due to cyclical reasons in our Oilfield business. After Thanksgiving weekend I am reducing the amount I spend severely, just because I feel so guilty right now! I have way more then enough to get me through the winter and then some! I'm also on a no paper buy right now except for kit club. Dropping it through after October. Probably pick it up again in March or April because I love the kits!
I typically spend about $125 a month on myself, challenges and Secret Sister.

I don't know about everyone, but my 'budget' is rather cyclic as well. I do tend to spend a little more in the summer than in the winter even though my income is exactly the same. Also, my scrap rate stays about the same as I can't go out much in the summer due to heat sensitivity issues (and live in Florida, it's crazy!). Wonder why I buy like that?!!

I try to limit myself. I look at what I am buying and make sure it is something I will use. I am also saving my points for my birthday in a couple months because I plan on placing a very big order.

That's what I got for my birthday... my mom paid for my basket. It wasn't a huge order, but it was the perfect gift. Now just waiting, waiting, waiting for it to get here - I HATE THIS PART!!!

LOL..I scrap alot during the hot summer months. I live in South Texas. So I know all too well what "heat and humidity" means!

I am the opposite - I scrap more in the winter due to it being so blasted cold and snowy. But this past week we have had the heat and humidity. No going outdoors for us either.
