Just came up devastated.
Evidently while I was at the beach last week, her sister in law - 41 years old - took her two sons too school. She tripped and fell, and they took her to the hospital. She had blunt force trauma to the back of her skull (initally the question was whether she was attacked - but they had video at the school of her tripping) and she just passed away.
If you pray, please say a prayer for the family. Thank you.

I just felt EVIL for complaining about the silly little normal things in life (cars, TV cable, not enough time or money, etc.) THIS is a real problem, not my silly stuff.

Oh my gosh that is horrible! It hits home for me, my uncle slipped on ice and fell, hitting his head and later dying. They are all in my prayers.

Prayers lifted! We just had a young lady at church celebrating her 31st birthday slipped on the dock, breaking her neck. Died instantly. It truly does put our "minor" worries in perspective. Hugs to your co-worker and family!

This was definitely a sad week. One of my co-workers lost her husband this weekend. He went in for back surgery on Thursday and Saturday night a blood clot went to his lung and he passed away. He was only 40 and they had only been married five years.

Your whole life can change so quickly, can't it?! Brain bleeds can result from such relatively minor trauma and be so devastating. Good thoughts to your coworker and her family.
