TOO PERSONAL?? With what we all discuss on HERE????

I am on Facebook, and what I do is if someone sends a friend request, I accept, and then I never GO on Facebook, KWIM?? I am too old for that nonsense.

I choose to limit what I do electronically, I'm tired of watching people in my office (some my age!) doing nothing but staring at a phone or tablet all day long. NO THANK YOU. I don't want to sound like a crotchety old lady, but that's the truth of everything . I even tried to blog - LOL!!! THat was a hoot. I hated that in about two days.

So I'll tell you my underwear size, and whatever other personal info you want - on here - but not out THERE.

I am with you on the personal stuff on FB. I only use FB for my scrapping. Never post personal stuff there.

So glad I'm not the only one that feels this way! I didn't even have a FB page for the longest time and so many people bugged me about it that I finally caved. Not sure why... I don't really do anything with it!

I am on FB and have a few of you as friends there as well. I do think sometimes there is too much personal information out there. Yeah I know it gets personal here too, but this isn't as public as FB in any sense of the word in my opinion. I play several of the games, this is a relaxing activity for me. I initially was on FB to set up a page/group for my high school classmates for planning reunions and such. I have connected with so many from my schools days so it was well worth that.

HEY Everyone! SO thrilled to be adding so many of you on FB. Feel like I have so many friends now!!! lol!

For me FB the personal issue I was bringing up was some things you might only want your family to see vs what you share on here. Everyone treats FB differently on how they have and what they share. I myself have everything blocked so the public cannot see it. Only if you are friends of mine. Here on acot its all public, so more careful about how much I share, b/c anyone can join the board and read.

Either way I'm just so glad we can all continue to connect on a different level and share! I've been all around these past few weeks so not been posting to much all around, but still peeking and scoping out the post!!

I agree with you, Sher! I used to have a FB account but deleted it a few months ago. I was really just tired of all the drama. I'm online for mostly just scrapping stuff and I don't need to know someone's day-to-day drama, routine, etc. Have enough drama in my own family, I don't need to hear about someone else's constantly. I also get so tired of people going around with their cell phones in their face! Whether they're driving, walking around in the store, or in the checkout! grrrr......I don't mind personal subjects on this site though as it's usually not just drama.
