Re: What's the most difficult
The most difficult technique for me to do is embossing. The embossing never looks good. Sometimes it comes out so bad that I cover it up with something else.

Ok, I thought I typed in my biggest frustration. I didn't but it occurred last week making Larry's Father's Day card. But I have thought of a way to overcome it. STAMPING!

Re: What's the most difficult
Well, if I define "most difficult" by something that intimidates me so much I've never done it, I'd say stitching! I don't do real sewing so I'm not going to get out a machine for a LO, or buy a bunch of other supplies. I'll also throw in the 4x4 Challenge, sorry Kim! As much as I adore sketches and recipe or supply list challenges for all the structure they give me (I like limited options, for me that quickens the process), I just can't wrap my head around 4x4 no many how many times I read it, lol.

Misting is still something I struggle with, and I have just started getting into stamping, a learning process for sure!!!

I find clustering difficult. It looks like it should be easy but I spend too much time thinking about what things to use and how to place them and then I get stuck.

Leaving white space, or rubber stamping. They are tied.

I agree with the hand stitching. I've only done it a few times and its come out pretty wonky!

I had one of those tiny paper sewing machines and broke it first time out!

Stamping is another thing that I don't do too often, although I should since I have quite a collection of stamps. I really want to work on using them more.

This is true for me too, I have tons of cool stamps and not the knowledge to use them. I do not want to "ruin" what I am working on if I don't like the stamped image or placement...
Well in all honesty - also stitching - but I do not even own a sewing machine!

Re: What's the most difficult
oh gosh I have a whole list of these - white space - I hate a layout with gobs of empty space and no pattern on it or embellies or something. lol Also using templates and spray misting a design. Oh and the stitching thing is impossible. Mine are always drawn in. Dry embossing and then adding chalk or ink too. lol

Oooooh I'm almost afraid to answer this because I'm afraid that's what I'll have to do for this challenge.
The thing that gives me the most trouble and I avoid like the plague..... even though I can't resist buying them are stickers.

Using stickers on a page is always problematic for me. I have trouble making them look right, although with the newer stickers it's a little less difficult, but I still avoid them.

Re: What's the most difficult
I don't worry about precision with stitching if I actually scrap in paper- I prefer a messy look anyway. But what bothers me and I struggle with are recoloring in digi...just can't seem to make it work! With paper, I struggle with committing myself to actually cut the paper. Because there isn't an un-do button in paper land!

I have trouble doing 2 page layouts and using more than 2 photos. I do them, but struggle. I see woman at crops who just whip 2 pagers with like 8 photos in no time. For me it takes much longer.

For me using tags or hidden tags is difficult for me.. just looks bulky on a page for me and unsure why I put it there! lol

Using lovely busy papers like Graphic 45! I love them but don't know how to use them in a LO!

Yes I am right with you there, b/c you don't want to cover up the paper, but yet don't know what to put with it.. its craziness!!

I'm right there with you Graphic 45 fans as far as loving the paper, but
it doesn't do you any good sitting in a pile, does it? How about looking
up projects other people have done on Pinterest, or on G45's site?
Don't be intimidated--the paper is so pretty that even one item cut out
and put onto a card of matching paper with a bit of trim looks amazing,
and, viola, you're an artist!

Grab some scissors & enjoy that prettiness! ;)

Ok... I am NOT a paper girl. I very rarely ever paper scrap anymore except to do a card for someone special. So in the digi world, masking and blending are my main weaknesses.

I have soooo much Glimmer Mist because I LOVE it, LOVE the technique when I see others do it/the idea of it, however, it never turns out right for me! So I have tons of it sitting around collecting dust!

using embellishments. I seem to create layouts and can't find the right embellishment - even though I have SO MANY different embellishments around.
