First time using the tape, it's rather simple but I like the way this yellow stands out against the purple. http://www.acherryontop.com/gallery/168721

Awesome layout! Love all the stripes! I'm presuming that the photo frames are also a Washi Tape? Re: the journal spot. If you hadn't said anything, I might have let it pass, thinking you had written on the BACK of one of the tickets.

OH HOW CUTE! Since the layout is about a child, I think the lettering you did is PERFECT! Great job!

Thanks for that comment cause I was worried about it being so unartful...is that a word? Now I can say I meant it to be that way, LOL.letumom wrote:debamas wrote:First time using the tape, it's rather simple but I like the way this yellow stands out against the purple. http://www.acherryontop.com/gallery/168721

I never would have thought to use the washi tape like this! LOVE the example and submission!!
Adorable puppy, my dear sweet Mattie from 1997 --this page is a disaster! LOL
Combined with the Feb Pet Challenge. I tried using Smooch Ink on the tape and it smeared so I tried to distress and grunge.

I chose Thickers as my embellishment.
I used WRMK washi sheets (yellow polka dot, red houndstooth, black pattern, green pattern). Used my Cricut to cut stars out of them.
I used Queen & Co washi tape for the bright chevron border and the photo strip border.

Whoo-hoo! Our first Washi Sheet layout! Great job, Brandi! Amazing way to use the Washi!

I used printed cardstock, lots of washi tape and twine as my extra embellishment to make the banner
I cut cardstock into a heart shape then covered with washi tape and used a heart embellie!

Here's mine, I used a piece of cardstock, an overlay as my embellishment and washi tape
