I often check out Pixel of Ink for free or cheap ebooks. I have found a lot of good ones on there.

If you go to the Kindlestore on Amazon, there is a link to the top 100 free books. I understand that they change daily as well.

I subscribe to the blog Books on the Knob for updates on Kindle freebies and bargains.

OK. Shoot me. I hate my Kindle. I got real BOOKS for Christmas, and I'm a happy lady. I don't care if I never read another one on that thing. If I were going somewhere and wanted to take along books - ok, maybe then. But for daily reading? NO. And are they "a lot" less expensive than real books? No. I'm an old fashioned reader, that's one thing I will not go electronic with.
I'm with you Sherim ... I just love the feeling of a new book (or an old one for that matter). But I do have a Kindle, don't use it all that often. We're becoming do digitalized, what's going to happen to libraries in the future?

I can't wait to use all these helpful links to free books. Thank you ladies. I wish my husband used 2 day shipping so my Kindle would come in faster. I sounded spoiled there, sorry. I should be thankful that he got it for me, but I feel like a kid at Christmas
