I got my first challenge done! Here's the original. . .
And this is the one (in the hybrid gallery - because the viewmaster reel is obviously digital! - the rest is all paper) I made last night. TFL
here is my layout that I just made to mimic this layout of mine from less than a year ago!
ok I followed the instructions and came upon a layout from a crop back in '05 or '06! 23 comments. Here is my lift of myself and I must say it is a bit busier than the original.

Great job on your lift! Love that you chose papers that mimicked your original layout.

What cute photos! Love the advent calendar.

WOW! These are two totally different layouts even if from the same photo! Love the lift, and the subject of the original!!
Great idea! It almost makes me sad, though - mine w/the most comments had 15 and I had several others with that number, but they're all from at least 2 years ago. Now, while I think my 'style' has improved at least slightly in that time, I have been getting way fewer comments. It really brought home to me how many of our once-regulars have left. (Of the 15, maybe 6 who commented are still here?) Now I'm pleased if I get at least 2 comments on a LO - I can't remember what it was like (ok, I can, lol, it was great!) to get over 10!
Great challenge! Here is my new layout:
I scraplifted this layout, which is the one with the most comments:
The funny thing is that they are both about food - not on purpose! For the original one I used Echo Park's For the Record Collection, then for the second one I used EP's For the Record 2 Documented collection - another completely unintentional coincidence!

No they are not the same baby. Aiden is the other little guy. He is almost 2. He moved out of state so I don't have in daycare anymore.letumom wrote:SherrieLynne wrote:Laurie I had so much fun doing this Challenge.

Great lift! Is that the same baby? Love the Santa hats, and the strings of lights!

Good job on the lift! Love the coincidinks!

The layout with the most comments was back in 2009 with 16 comments. Loved the design, however, with my current layout, I went with squares instead of circles.

Love that the letters alternate colors, and match not only his outfit but the background paper!
