I love all the fantastic journaling cards that can be bought but I wanted to try to make my own for a mini album I'm making( Road Trip). This is what I came up with. Now keep in mind that these are my first and I am soooooo not good at digital scrapbooking. My favorite is the first one on the bottom but I know I will use the other five as well. Any suggestions on how I can improve my next batch? I want cards for each page so I need 6 more cards. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

You could make some with road signs on them or traffic lights or even cars, trucks or brands on them.

those are so cute! when I took classes at CKC the Creating Keepsakes coursese used the journaligc cards a lot, and you know the little Jillibean soup labels? they'd add things like those on them too... have you ever read any CK mags? they are my favs! they do things wouldn't think to do!

Wow - awesome job!!! The only thing I'd add would be brads because I'm on a brad kick, lol, but I'd prob. just use real ones to add dimension, the cards themselves are great!

Thank you all so much for your posts! I'm really enjoying this whole do it myself stuff. Normally when I buy something I don't use half of them. This way what I make fits my needs and there aren't any spares!

I love the ideas you have and I'm going to try to incorporate them into this next set. Shoot, I may just make a third set just for fun. Thank you all again! You all made me fell much more enthusiastic about this!
