are you needing for your scrapping?
I always need doggie things, and I really wish that some digi designers would get creative with the doggie embellishments. Seems like so many of the kits have the same pawprints, bones, and so forth. Also, I get tired of the same old doggie color schemes of primaries and neutrals.
For my family, I just want some stuff for hanging out, eating dinner. LOL! Seems like we do that alot!
There are some really cute doggie kits out there, but they do all look alike. I don't do very many animal LOs so I don't need them, but I do see a lot of the same type of stuff for paper LO of all genres.

I don't do digi, but my oldest son has outgrown the "young/toddler/little boy" themes and colors........however, he isn't anywhere NEAR the tween stuff. So between tween papers and embellishments?! Or more sophisticated color schemes for boys...?
I wish all companies would venture out into doggie land. I do get tired of the primary colors. I want something UNIQUE!
As well as other subjects that I scrap, I wish there were more options for music. My brother played the sax in HS and you can find a package of stickers with ALL the instruments. I just would like to find a package of stickers with an assortment of saxophones.

My son has wrestled for 2 years now, and I have a really hard time finding anything for his layouts. I did find one once but it had all orange elements, and his school colors are green and blue! Now this year, in his new school, his colors will be purple and gold (can we say ugly? lol). But wrestling stuff.... and guard stuff - less band but more for the flags and sabres and rifles, with dressy elements since it is essntially a dance type performance.
Cats! And music concerts that's not all black and neon orange/green/blue, lol.
I'm only a paper scrapper but I'm always looking for more doggie-themed items and papers.

Just a paper scrapper here - but I'd love to see more adult themes (not naughty ones - you dirty ladies! ) that aren't wine and travel... No kids here - but dh and I do a lot of things together but I usually have to resort to random, generic items to scrap these things with.
Rebecca
Why do you all say "just a paper scrapper?" You are a scrapper! LOL! I just mentioned digi because I know that designers in digi tend to put out a lot more kits, not just at specific times of the year. I totally agree with more adult themes besides wine and travel!Monroe1218 wrote:Just a paper scrapper here - but I'd love to see more adult themes (not naughty ones - you dirty ladies! ) that aren't wine and travel... Hi Nancy, my son wrestled also so I got some paper (i know you like digital) from Reminisce and I think Moxxie (don't know if they are even still in business) that was wrestling, it was more neutral colored. I don't know if you can even get it anymore but I thought you might be able to look it up on their sites. They also had some really cool stickers that went with the papers ...well as cool as wrestling can get....Ayla wrote:My son has wrestled for 2 years now, and I have a really hard time finding anything for his layouts. I am always up for requests
I have a few "pet" kits but they are I guess in the more "generic" variety.
Will see if something will spark for something new and innovative with it

I started designing because I could not find what I wanted in the way of doggy kits. Everything was too cutsey and cartoony and in the same neutral colors with maybe a red or blue added. Plus the same standard cliched elements that I did not care for several of them. My pampered pooches do not have a dog house. As for fire hydrants - why do I want something to remind me of the smell of urine?? Yeah, I do have some of these elements in my kits, but it is because they are expected.I will try to get something new for pets done, but it might not be until a Christmas kit. I'm sorry, but my personal life has been in a very stressful place. Being unemployed for so long all my money ran out, including the 401K/IRA. I've been working at McDonald's which was all I could find. The physical demands of the job wipe me out. Plus the added stress of managers without a clue which has just gotten horrid since the store owner died. But there is good news - I am going to be able to get some pension fund money from and old job and get my behind back in school next month and get retrained!!pawprints wrote:AnnOminous wrote:I don't think these are primary colors or typical doggy kit look!!

Sorry to hear you are going thru this Ann. And I want to say that I LOVE your doggie Christmas kits! I have them all!
In addition to what's been mentioned, I would like to see something more for pontooning/jet skiing on the river/lake, and playing volleyball, horseshoes, bocca ball, etc on the sand bar. Also grilling off the pontoon or on the sandbar, sitting under the umbrella, holding/having a beer or mug, playing fetch with the dog, all with tons of people and boats and pontoons and jet skis lining the edge of the sandbar. Including being anchored in a bay swimming, or loading/unloading at a dock, or all the slips in the marina....... Sorry, it's specific, but this is all we do once we get the pwc's out of storage for the summer, and the water/pool embellies really don't cut it. Lake/river water is not turquiose in these parts! If anyone is interested in building a kit like this, I would gladly send them pics for ideas!!
Thanks to Kim for creating the Paintball Mini kit! That was also on my list!
Also I'd like something more for road construction, and travel/everday. During the summer months, that's all we hear about and see is orange cones and construction workers.
Another specific is the oil boom, all of our roads are going to s*** due to all the truck traffic. The price of all consumables is really increased due to demand and man camps are popping up everywhere. Finding a new home is impossible because there aren't any and if you find one it's overpriced. Same with vehicle shopping.
