We love Rebecca & Pink Paislee! Welcome!
Hey Everyone!!! I am here!!
Thanks for joining Pink Paislee for a “craft and chat” this morning. I am so happy to be here! And...I just have to tell you guys....every time I see Heidi from ACOT at CHA I just gush over her gorgeous hair! Everyone at Pink Paislee totally adores her and we are so happy to have our products featured in the ACOT store!!
Today I am also going to walk you step by step through an amazing layout designed by our creative team member Vicki Boutin.
In Vicki’s words:
"When I sit down to make a layout or project the product I use is almost as important as the photos or story I am about to tell. Interesting color palettes, funky embellishments and stamps truly make me want to create. Indigo Bleu from Pink Paislee was one of those lines that made me itch to make something with it…right away! I love the blues, greys and yellows in this one!!! Totally unexpected and fun!
So I was set with product. I had tags, stamps, borders, die cuts and papers. The perfect mix. Next, I wanted to add some kind of "technique". "It's all about the layers" is my mantra so I started with a background of stamped images in blue and black that would kind of "peek" out here and there. I also added a few quick bursts of mist and paint drops. The wood shop letters on my version are "dip dyed" with only the bottoms colored with ink. Then you can just layer the rest of the elements on and don't forget your foam adhesive!!!!" ~ Vicki
