There are many times I enjoy being alone but stranded...even with someone I hate, two head are better than one and for survival, I bet we'd mend our ways.

wow.. I can't say I truly hate many people, but with my luck one of those very few would be the ones I'd be stuck with and the only reason I actually use the word 'hate' rather than' don't care for' is for truly, truly good cause... so I definitely would want to be alone on that island!

You can conk them over the head with something and use them for a boogy board to get to another place.

on one hand if your with someone you hate..you have time to get to know them and find the good in them... better than being lonely... and at least you have someone to talk to even if its to argue..on other hand if you are able to come up with a plan..to get free, you might not agree with each other...worse case senerio...they might run out of food and decide you look tasty or visa versa...
if your alone...you have to do all the work yourself. build shelter.. defend yourself from the head hunters..lol.. without back up.. but at least you are feeding yourself and fishing for yourself in peace.. silence and being alone too long would make you crazy.. remember tom hanks and wilson?
I vote having an enemy with me-even at the risk of being eaten by them when we are starving...
