Re: What are you making?
Sounds wonderful, Clint! We're keeping it simple this year. Family gathering tomorrow for egg dying, a hunt and we'll be having ham, turkey on rolls, cake, deviled eggs and broccoli salad.

BTW, I love brussel sprouts and am wondering how you keep a piece of bacon around it and how to cook it.

Re: What are you making?
We are going to my grandma's house for Easter.

We are having ham and leg of lamb, not sure what sides.

I'm making cheesecake and chocolate chip cookies with those cadbury chocolate eggs.

YUM! I am coming to your house!!!!! Unfortunately, I have no plans at the moment. Family all lives far away, and DH has to work. Other than church, not sure what the day holds.

We're doing a buffet that includes the traditional ham, scalloped potatoes, but mixing it up with homemade carne asada, tamales, and homemade salsa. We always end up with a big spread and lots of food, family, and fun!

Re: What are you making?
We don't usually have a family gathering. I play piano at church at we'll have a pitch-in breakfast before the service. I got to pick the music this year though pretty much all Easter music is awesome anyway, but I know I'll love it! Then relax that afternoon & help DH pack as he leaves for an annual mission trip early the next morning.

Re: What are you making?
Wow sounds yummy.
For the first time ever, I bought one of those honey baked hams.
Making this yummy slightly crunchy baked mashed potatoe casserole too.
And big green salad.
Oh and per family request, my sourdough yeast rolls. (had to hurry to get the starter going again).
Then this big old wonderful cake from the local market bakery with a whipped cream frosting and fresh fruit since it is my DH's b'day next Tuesday. His entire family such as it is are coming over as well as our two sons.

All this talk of food is making me hungry this morning.

Everyone will be here for Easter (everyone being about 8 of us, we have a little family)

We are having Honey glazed spiral ham, scalloped potatoes, cauliflower, rolls, strawberry shortcake. Pretty simple meal.

Have a great Easter, everyone!!!!

I use tooth picks that have been soaked in water over night, that way they don't burn in the oven. Once they have been cooked, the bacon really stays on by itself, have to make the bacon a little crispy. :-D Hope that helps.

LoL - I will have to ask my brother, Matt. He is flying in over my Birthday in June. It's too far off or I would say I'll just have him put you in his luggage. :)

Very casual dinner here - ham and potato salad.
OCD is not an adjective.  It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized.  It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. 💙 I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son. 💙

I'm working all weekend (and don't even get holiday pay...at a CATHOLIC hospital! lol) and the kids are going to their dad's for the day (except DD...don't think she is going to go - I leave that up to her), so nothing fancy around here. Not even sure if Bob is going to make anything...will just have to see.

Re: What are you making?
Only one person here likes ham, so we're going non-traditional. I'm having wedding soup (with both chicken and mini meatballs, so it's the main dish), garlic bundt bread, strawberry pretzel Jello salad, buffalo chicken dip, and, for dessert, DD made sugar cookies with buttercream icing.
