All you can do is take one day at a time, and eventually the happy days will out weigh the sad days. Just remember this will not happen over night. Take care and be strong. Us Cherries are here for you. (((HUGS)))
Mildred - Mom to 2 girls and a husband (I tell people that I am a single mom of 3. Ages 59, 37 and 31) lol. And a proud Grandma to Orahn (7) Sawyer (5) and Mazie (3).
You are in the right place. The women here, as you know already, are amazing and kind and always ready to listen. Your feelings are completely normal and getting a divorce is a bit like getting on a roller coaster, strapping yourself in and just riding out the swirls and dips and climbs. It does get better!
WAS a TIKI BAR GIRL AND ALWAYS WILL BE

Oh sweetie (((((BIG HUGS)))))
Even though it was your idea, it still breaks your heart. It does get easier, the lonliness and hurt do fade, but it all takes time. I agree with what 3Pals said-Take one day at a time and let yourself be. When I got divorced, I was the one who decided to end it, and even though it was an unhealthy marraige, it still sucked! It took time for me to find the good things about life. But when I did, I hung onto that to help carry me through the bad days. Give yourself days to cry, to feel, but also give yourself positive thoughts and support. I'm here for you hon if you need to talk or vent or cry. PM me if you need to and know that you're in my thoughts.

I have an everyday religion that works for me. Love yourself first, and everything else falls into line.

All the cherries have already said all the supportive stuff to you. I feel that way, too. I will keep you in my prayers. It is so hard now, but the good thing is when you hit bottom there is no place to go except up! So , just look up. When my dh and I were divorced, he lived just next door! That was a very wrong move for us, but now we are back together and have been for more than 40 years now. We got through it, but omg! it was hard. Still is sometimes if truth be told.

Oh, Shannon, please give it some time. It is a huge thing to go through. I really suggest finding a support group and reading some books, they can greatly help.
I LOVE this place for support! it is a great place for venting, and getting advice this board has helped me so much . Someone is always ready to lend an ear or offer support .. ADVICE already given , i will add you to my prayers. Give yourself some time. Hang in there, there will be better days ahead for you. With every end there is a new beginning!
Have a coke and a smile!
Hang on. You made your choice for a reason. Unless things have changed, go on. Don't second guess yourself. You can do what you need to do to make your life what you want it to be.

Aww, girl!! I am so sorry for all the hurt. But you know.. this is going to sound cheesy... I have admired you these last few years for your talent and drive and how you've made your photography business bloom. You are smart, strong, and so much more able than you even know. Hugs to you! One day at a time.
I'm sorry that you are struggling with this. I'm sure it is very difficult. God bless you.
