Off to work in a few minutes.....today is my day to work correspondence all day. I hate every other Wednesday for that reason. It's tedious and a pain in the booty because you're cleaning up others junk.

But I will get through it because it means I have a job that helps put a roof over my head

Good morning Cherries...well, today is the day I was hoping to get my site and FB page up and running...so I'm hoping to do that at some point (still have lots to do). I picked today because I was hoping it would bring me a bit of good luck. See, 15 years ago today, I started dating this cute guy I met at a convenient store the day before, and we've been together ever since! And now I'm embarking on another journey as a small business owner that will hopefully have as good of results. I hope everyone has a great day!

It is raining cats and dogs here!! Coming down in buckets!! I'm thinking maybe I should take the truck to work instead of walking across the street!!
Not looking forward to today; am going to ask the boss right out if his "threat" of disciplinary action (for quality control errors) means termination or just what? Because if it entails that I am prepared to tell him that I have started the process for retirement. I called ERS yesterday and got it started. I don't have to go through with it if I change my mind, but that's my option. I also put in an app for early social security.

This is not the way I wanted to end my employment.

Good morning cherries! A beautiful sunny morning here. I wish I had gotten up earlier and headed to beach for sunrise! That would have been great! DH is off today so not sure what the plans are. Maybe sunrise tomorrow???? It is supposed to be near 70 again, so maybe a walk on beach with DH is in order. Either way, hope to get some scrappy time in, falling behind a bit. The Dane got DS's boots and destroyed the laces yesterday (but thankfully she left the rest alone), so it's off to buy new ones to replace them. I have to ship a couple of books that I sold on Ebay, and, as always, Wednesday afternoon and night will be dedicated to driving the girls to soccer training.

Bill pay today, then some really thrifty grocery shopping for the next two weeks. Its going to be really tight for us, due to poor management on our part

I am so not a morning person. But my Sister-in-law that had the two back surgeries needs me to take her somewhere early this a.m. so I got up at 6! Ugh. Hope she appreciates how difficult it is for me to even by up before 9am let alone out of the house.

But then we will all come back here and have a nice lunch. She is recovering very well and should be able to stay by herself in another week or two. I know she will appreciate that. And perhaps, cross your fingers, wont have to another 2 months before being able to drive. Oh well. She has been my best friend for 50 years, guess one early morning wont kill me.

I basically only got up an hour ago after working last night. I left work early after throwing up twice at work (very unusual for me)...I think I ate something that had gone bad because after some sleep and time I feel tons better! Finished a little bit of some design work, helped DBF change the lightbulb in the stairwell (it's hung way above the stairs at a right angle, so it took his heavier than tarnation multilevel ladder because standard pole extensions won't work because of the angle of the bulb!) so now we can see going down the basement stairs! Made some Kraft mac and cheese for lunch and DBF actually ate some (he will eat but he won't COOK from a box! lol - the temperaments of a chef I guess). Hopefully some scrappy time, a quick trip to the grocery store for milk, and work again tonight!
